Use Black List Pro to create a black list of celebrities and other keyword topics that describe stories you no longer wish to see.
On every web page Black List Pro quietly and magically expunges all stories that match your list, leaving the rest of the page alone. The number of stories removed on each page is displayed on the Black List Pro icon located to the right of the Omnibar (search bar).

Works really well to filter out content, but it only accepts a certain amount of blacklisted phrases before it just stops accepting any more input without warning about a maximum amount, so it's useful but limited. The input bar for new entries is also at the bottom of the list of current entries, so once you start adding to it you start needing to scroll down more and more. If the input bar were moved up and the issue with the limit of entries was fixed, it'd be perfect and I'd honestly recommend it to anyone I know who wants to declutter their internet experience. If it took paying a modest amount to get a version with those improvements, I'd be more than happy to.

Can you add import/export function? it need add keyword in every computer, if it can sync to other device, it's perfect.

Was one of the best out there but after the update has became as useless as a chocolate teapot. Checked Mailonline today and it was riddled with the Kardashians/Jenners/Royals news etc. Before I didn't have this problem. This extension does not work as it is supposed to anymore. What a shame.

Please add refresh button (e.g. right-click icon, refresh). On yahoo, it only works on articles on top... as you scroll down, newly loaded articles still contains those that should have been blocked.

Absolutely great! So simple to use!!!! I was tired of reading about the Kardashians or Miley Cyrus everytime I'm opened Google News, and mind you I wasn't looking at Entertainment News which really baffled me, but with this extensions I'm finally rid of them!!! It just removes the names and info. All the boring information gone.
