Adds a button to MapMyRun workouts to export as a GPX file
This extension adds a button to the MapMyRun (or Fitness, Ride, Walk, Hike) workout page action bar titled 'Export as GPX' that simply creates a GPX file of your workout and downloads the file.

- (2021-09-19) Filip Balag: The download button doesn't seem to exist in the UI - the MapMyRun webpage looks different in the screenshots, so perhaps they've changed it and the extension was not updated. Instead, use MapMyRun's "Download as TCX" (the three dots in the upper right corner), then use GPSBabel to convert to GPX.
- (2020-07-26) Denis Desmond: When it works, it's perfect. Unfortunately about 2/3 of the time it hangs up on "Processing" and never downloads the file.
- (2019-09-09) Robert Cutforth: No problems here. Works as advertised.
- (2018-06-21) James S: Agreed! It doesn't work.
- (2017-06-06) Blue Ball: Doesn't work - download shows 'Failed - Network error'
- (2017-01-22) Joshua Johnson: Doesn't actually work. Developer may need to re-write based on most recent version of MapMyFitness.com
- (2015-12-25) Scott Lewis: When I click the "Export to GPX" button, the text on the button changes to "Processing..." and nothing else happens. In the support tab the developer says something about their being no "time series" data. It sounds like a quickie patchwork solution rather than a well-designed and thought-out, reliable solution. The developer further claims - about his own extension - that it is redundant with the TCX export feature. If that is the case, then, IMHO, this extension should be removed from the Chrome webstore.
