  • (2020-09-16) Yuriy Stasyuk: Great extension!
  • (2020-07-19) Saajid Chowdhury: At first, it was exactly what I wanted. But ever since today, for some reason this happens: i see a blue arrow on the first search result, then i hit j, and it becomes a black arrow on the SAME search result, then i hit j, and then it becomes a blue arrow on the second search result. so you have to hit the down arrow/j twice for each search result, which is kind of annoying. I tried resetting settings to default and restarting chrome, but this still happens. edit: totally fixed. as for the settings themselves, they don't save even if i hit save. the only ones that do happen to save are the experimental settings (such as enabling it on youtube). edit: the default "next search result" keybinding is k, but vim users would prefer j. the default "previous search result" keybinding is i, but we'd prefer k here. problem is, i can't save my keybinding settings for some reason. when i click the save button, literally nothing happens. EDIT: everything above was promptly fixed, thank you so much! I'm glad I wrote this review. This tool is PERFECT. it does exactly what you want, 100% of the time. I wish I could give this 6 stars. better than other related extensions.
  • (2020-07-17) seongLae cho: after this update navigator don't move one by one when i send down arrow twice, it move down each url or card has two space for move
  • (2020-07-11) Austin J: Great extension when working correctly. Recently I stopped being able to type certain letters into the google search bar, though. I believe it's all the same letters as the shortcuts for this extension. I'm guessing some Chrome update broke the extension, hoping it's fixed quick! Thanks for the great software!
  • (2020-07-09) ekarron: Simply awesome! can't recommend enough
  • (2020-07-07) Christian Tusch: It's really simple to use and great but I'm missing one feature: It can't select "subresults" from the same domain (like for example stackoverflow). As a workaround I navigate to the parent result and then tab my way to the subresult. But that breaks the flow since I have to switch keys and I also have to go over the dropdown arrow every time. Would be great if you could add this some time!
  • (2020-07-01) Zevi Wolff: Really well done. thanks a lot
  • (2020-06-28) Jason Gomez: Absolutely essential extension, now working better than ever. Should really have millions of more users.
  • (2020-04-09) Thomas W: Does exactly what I wanted
  • (2020-04-07) Kastan Day: Really liked this. Simple, but solves a problem. No config required.
  • (2020-04-05) Guy Kaplan: Awesome!

  • (2022-12-16, v:0.4.13) Aaron G: Two suggestions (THANK you for this awesome extension!)
THANK you for this fantastic extension! Two little recommendations: 1) There's "Open in a new window/tab" which appears to be "open in foreground tab"...That is a good thing to have, but recommend also having a "Open in new window" (and ideally, a separate "Open in new background window", which would open in a new window and switch back to the active window ;) ) 2) would love an option to scroll down by a certain number of links (ideally pageful). If I scroll down a pageful of results, and then I want to choose a visible result, I have to hit the "next result" shortcut many times to get down there. Thank you again for the excellent work!
  • (2022-12-16, v:0.4.22) Pratik Chaudhary: Crash
It is not working properly with youtube. If I refresh home page the selection just vanishes. After that it doesn't appear ever. Please help me out soon.
  • (2022-12-14, v:0.4.22) David Hazel: Navigating through sub-results
Hi, I really love the extension. I do a lot of searching through reddit and stackoverflow results, and one issue I've noticed is that when I navigate to the next result, it skips over all the sub-links for those forums and goes to the next website altogether. If you search something like "best chrome extensions reddit", you might see one normal size reddit link, but beneath it you'll see 5 or 6 sub-links, each pointing to different reddit posts that match the search query. If I want to navigate to the second link in the list of reddit results, I have to use my mouse, because all of those sub-links are skipped if I hit the usual "next result" key. Is there a way to change this behavior already or would this be a new feature you'd consider adding? It would be extremely helpful for me, and I assume others have similar requirements for their workflows. Thanks!

  • (2022-06-15, v:0.4.21) abdw alfa: Focused search result at the bottom of the window
When pressing 'j' to navigate to the next search result, it appears at the bottom of the window, it would be better if it appears at the top, so I can see the other search results without having to navigate to everyone of them blindly.

  • (2020-11-06, v:0.4.15) Doğa Armangil: Google search keys have stopped working
BUG: As of November 6th 2020, the keys n, v, i are no longer working on Google search results. In other words, the user remains stuck in the "All" tab on the search result page, rather than navigating to a corresponding specialised search tab (news, video, or. images).
  • (2020-10-07, v:0.4.15) Karolis Kniukšta: Focuses on "Next" rather than first result
Maybe something changed in google search layout, but now when I do search I page gets scrolled to the bottom with "Next" control activated. It's the same with old and latest extension versions.
  • (2020-09-10, v:0.4.15) ekarron: Breaks Youtube space bar
When enabling the extension on Youtube, you won't be able to hit space to pause the video because it hits it twice so it pauses it then quickly plays it.

  • (2020-05-28, v:0.3.2) Daniel Olshansky: Extension Doesn't Work
I'm on the latest version of chrome and extension simply doesn't work for me. I have `Focus on first search result automatically after the page loads` enabled, but it doesn't automatically focus on the first result. When I click "tab", it goes to google's "Skip to main content" button. Not sure what I have to configure to make use of the extension, so any help would be appreciated!

  • (2020-04-21, v:0.3.2) Jerzy Potocki: It is great; what about customizing colors of visited /unvisited links in Google Search
I love your extension, it is absolutely great - very practical to navigate with keyboard across search results. The thing that I am missing is being able to easily change colors of visited /unvisited links in search results - in my case they show in very similar colors, almost impossible to distinguish. Customizing it would be great for me, do you know any simple method for this or can you make part of your extension?
  • (2019-08-27, v:0.3.2) Kevan Schwitzer: first result as callout not detected
Hey. Nice plugin. It's really a big time saver! I noticed a small issue. For some search results, when there's a callout/snippet associated with the first result, the extension does not detect that link as the first result. So, in this case, the extension doesn't mark it as the first one and additionally it cannot be navigated to. For example, if you type in the search query "microsoft excel strikethrough" you should see what I'm talking about. Thanks again for the great plugin!!

  • (2019-05-17, v:0.3.2) Stefane Guevremont: Add Search Engines
In the options, if you could add search engines to the shortcuts you want to use, it would make this extension that much better. E.g.: Assigning "w" to the wikipedia search page. Another Extension I use, does something similar: "Selection Search".
  • (2019-04-13, v:0.3.2) Nicholas Kreidberg: Allow access to other sites?

  • (2019-01-11, v:0.3.2) Jerzy Potocki: Clicking up/down while holding Ctrl
It would be useful to be able to click up/down key while holding the Ctrl key as well, when opening new pages in background (with Ctrl, which one has to release now before clicking up/down keys...). Could you please consider it? /It should be easy to make...

  • (2018-02-06, v:0.2.5) Enrico Da Lozzo: Further development
Please add a shortcut "f" for google finance (https://finance.google.com/finance) Scrolling down search results is not fluid, as when a result at the bottom of the page is marked, the URL address and the google description basically lay on the page below. Page snapping should be improved. Good job anyway!

  • (2017-11-10, v:0.2.5) Siddarth R Iyer: Key shortcut for copying the URL
Quite simply, to copy the original URL into clipboard (URL without the google redirect) with a quick keypress (probably 'c'?) This would be awesome to quickly share URLs from search results.
