You may be able to recover your tabs by going to: C:\Users\*userfolder*\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome Beta\User Data\Default\databases\chrome-extension_kmabfaomlcjlnplkoflgenkmmpilmead_0 and opening the file with a text editor like notepad++. Will be a bunch of junk in the file but also should have your links.

I followed the instruction of other lovely people in here and managed to at least save the data. I Installed OPERA browser and added this extension and it works (for the time being). Most important of all, I saved the data. It was a lovely app that was simple and served me for years. Such a shame.

• (2023-11-04) bow wow: I think the extension can't be used anymore due to chromium extension policy update. Even if the extension doesn't function properly, your tab data still remains in ' C:\Users\*userfolder*\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome Beta\User Data\Default\databases\chrome-extension_kmabfaomlcjlnplkoflgenkmmpilmead_0 ' So you can backup this file, install whatever browser that based on chromium version 118 or below and paste the file on ' *browsername*\User Data\Default\databases\chrome-extension_kmabfaomlcjlnplkoflgenkmmpilmead_0 ' This makes the extension works again with your previous data. Don't forget to turn off the browser's auto-update function. Or you can read tab data file with SQL Viewer software. There are some good alternative extensions like 'Tab Session Manager', 'Tabox'. Those extensions are open source and are expected to receive constant updates.

• (2023-11-03) stuartp 52: A temporary fix for the app not working - I downloaded an older version of Brave Vrowser (1.59.112) from github, specifically https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases/download/v1.59.112/BraveBrowserStandaloneSetup.exe Other older Brave or Chrome based versions will probably work I just happened to pick this one. You will need to disable the Browser Update Service in Windows Services otherwise the old version will auto update. For me this works but is only a temporary fix because it means any updates to browser security etc won't happen. Maybe if the problem causes other extensions to fail they'll fix the cause so updates can be installed.
• (2023-11-02) Ali: Currently not working on windows chrome, but does on macos and edge on windows. What's going on? None of the save tabs or import features work and its practically useless. Looking for a fix. If it works for you, its probably the best tab saver extension.

• (2022-03-01) Tim Nolte: When it's working on an ongoing basis it works well. However, if you have an export, and especially a large export, then you are going to be sorry as the import from the export it does won't import right. Even after hand editing the file to remove single quotes as reviews have mentioned it still just stops at importing only 10 groups out of the like 100+ groups I have. Really sucks to have found this out after wiping my machine and attempting to restore from backup. Looks like I'll be moving on from this app and trying something else.

I load previously saved tsd files, and it fails to load anything. So, it used to work great, but now there is a problem. Please respond if/when you see this.

• (2020-01-21) Anthony Blond: Works really well for me. I personally like the way it replaces all current tabs in the window, rather than just adding new ones. Good for switching contexts. The developer seems particularly switched onto how people use things. Clean interface - simple no nonsense. When they added a facebook like button, I was quickly able to disable in the settings.
• (2019-12-13) Oleksiy: Расширение хорошее, но иногда нужно чистить компьютер с целью защиты приватности. Добавьте пожалуйста возможность удаления всех групп закладок сразу. У меня два десятка групп скопилось, и щелкать по ним не удобно. Кроме того, можете сказать - в какую папку или файл расширение записывает список закладок, т.е. путь до папки /файла, чтобы убедиться что я все почистил. Спасибо.

• (2019-05-04) Alberto Pignocchino: Needs some work on it, to get really better. 1) Interface is somewhat hard, risky, terrific and counter-intuitive, you continuosly ask yourself if you're gonna loose your data doing anything. Breathless! Should rework all actions to the "never loose anything by default" principle, and then, eventually add ctrl or shift to do something risky. Risky means: replace or "cover" (destroy) something (any tab anywhere) that do not exist no more after acting. See also your first recension: that Mr here, may have not read, or disabled, popup messages, but the risk to loose data there is. And I'm continuosly coming back to help text in hints page, means you cannot do nothing by default without risk. No safety principle. UI not simple and clear. 2) Plus, hints says that, with "+" it adds only SELECTED tabs to (new) group, but is not true, it adds ALL the tabs in current window and not only the selected as said. That should not be anyway: if I have 100 tabs open surely I do not want to save them all together, else what's the matter, but select some and group them, then some others to another group and so on. That's clearly a logic error IMHO. 3) Another bit, these moving 4 buttons in Group dialogue, also are not the clearest, doubt arise if they behave to the uphand or downhand object (beside what they do: no popup action message on hover!), better to have them fixed position in dialogue, and clearly hilight the row on which you are acting upon. Even disk icon is wrong here, you are not saving anything, hence you are actually deleting data (replacing the saved tabs) without clearly stating so in the UI. And if you click on Grpoup name, you lose all your tabs in current window. A menace for tabs of all the word! Thats only the beginning of my test, I stop here, I suggest you a careful revision based on some outside point of view by some people that dare to criticize your view, to help you learn where to change, and discover how to do a more safe and relaxing interface :-) ... In the end, we users should sleep good even after "updating" a group XD! Seems you should not reinvent the weel and complicate things without a reason, there are xamples all around of working good and standard interfaces to take example. I think KISS principle here could help a little ;-) Don't despair because you only may have to rebuild the UI logic from scratch to be more consistent, safe and clearly defined for the unknowingly user. The underlying code seems to be working.
