An extension that allows you to receive links from your phone
Note: You will need the mobile app to use this. Search for "Phone to Chrome" on the Play store, or visit http://whatthedude.com/ptoc
Instructions for use:
- Install this extension
- Install the Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amaan.phonetochrome)
- Note the "ID for mobile app" from this extension
- Type the ID into the settings page of the Android app
Features:
- Receive links from your phone
- Save a history of the links you've received in the past (customizable in the options)
- Queue links if your computer is offline (with the pro version of the Android app, available at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amaan.phonetochromepro)
- Receive different links from your phone
- Receive links that are different to the first 2 ones from your phone
- And many more! (Not really. It's a fairly simple extension)

The killer omitted feature here is to parse the URL when whatever app we are sharing from prefixes the URL with a text title or description. In my case, I tested using Medium, which sends "This is the name of the article http://medium.com/article-url" Developer - contact me if you need help adding this feature. It's like 10 lines of code with a regex parse library to extract a URL from the full message text and then open the URL rather than trying to pass the whole string to the browser.

Great job...stealing American money with a garbage app... that.. DOESN'T work. I hope you can come here to America... with all the monies you've scammed for and price me out my neighborhood. I wouldn't doubt this app steals information.. it already tries to steal money.

Отличное приложение - очень удобно одним нажатием делиться ссылками из Хрома телефона на ПК! Рекомендую. Вопрос один - что делать с полем "Passphrase" ("Пропустить фразу") в настройках и зачем оно нужно вообще?
