• (2021-02-18) Rob: I tried a bunch and suspect that this is the best/least worst - ok once you get used to it. It's handier than the clunky built-in chrome magnifier although it is a shame that development stopped IN 2016. The main fault is having to counter-intuitively move the wheel AWAY from yourself to zoom IN ffs. UPDATE The magnifying glass is blocked by Popupoff aggressive mode which I use to block pop-up videos. Zoom magnifier has improved a lot and is probably the best one now.

Screen doesn't adjust properly, not even close, you'd think that it zooms in on where your mouse is right? Wrong, it struggles to properly zoom in and you'll find that it zooms in the left side of the image and constantly readjusts itself making it really annoying. If you're going to brag about a feature in your description you better make sure it actually works.

• (2017-01-04) Forrest Desjardins: The options for initiating a zoom aren't great for me. The overlay is distracting (I just turned it off), and the right-click zooming is a bit odd. I'm not sure it's even working correctly? Though, it may be because I'm on Linux. It'd be awesome to configure keys, so I could map my caps lock or something to start zooming. The zoom isolation is the main feature I was after. I ended up removing it for now, but I may come back. Keep up the great work, developers! I hope you keep adding to this.

It would be very helpful if you could set a custom button to engage the scroll wheel custom zoom rather than limiting it to the right click mouse button. It would also be nice if the user could select a 2 or 3 key combo to do a custom zoom in/out straight from the keyboard without using the mouse.

  Summary: Bug found! Software works, but gets stuck after initial use making any use of the scroll wheel increase or decrease everything. ___________________________ I've used and loved this for years now. However, I had disabled it for several months because of other things I was doing, which required me to use the same keys that this is bound to. So I uninstalled and installed the newest version, so that I'd have the most up-to-date. Initially, it works fine, but then it gets locked in the activate position somehow. So everytime I use the scroll wheel on the mouse, it increases or decreases the size. The only way to make it stop is to refresh the page. Again, it has no issues until I activate the button combo used to make it work, then it gets stuck in this position. This seems like it would be a bug that could be easily fixed. Please help.

  Why is the "Show/Hide Magnifier icon" button disabled if you've set the magnifier not to show in options? I don't like the magnifier always being there because it is distracting, but when I need it I need to go to options to enable it. Why not just let it be enabled by clicking the show/hide button?

  It would be nice to have a URL blacklist, as the injected HTML can cause some pages to break, even when not visible - such as the Steam Community. So I propose that a URL blacklist is added that completely disables the injection on those pages (wildcards are a necessity for the URLs too.)
