  • (2017-09-22) Toomas Välja: Great little helper tool! Works as of September 2017 with Chrome Version 61.0.3163.91 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • (2015-12-21) Pat Vee: I love this, I wish G-Cal would have it themselves as my wife says that this extension "slows down chrome" so she had to disable it, so I don't know. But when having 90% of the calendar events I create be dual events for us both, this is really helpful.
  • (2015-12-04) Gregory Marton: Does what it says. Code is clean and simple. Would love to be able to include a message in the description, like "Feel free to change time or date of the calendar event, in case it doesn't work for you, and my calendar will be automatically updated."

  • (2020-11-11, v:0.3) Katherine Lewis: Auto Guests Modify Event No Longer Works
Calendar was updated earlier this year. Ever since, the extension has stopped working, where all calendar events do NOT have Guests Modify Event automatically selected. Please advise of a fix, or when an updated extension is available. Thank you!
  • (2019-09-25, v:0.3) Guests can Modify Event - Not working
I have created an event on the google calendar, under guests I invited multiple people to the event, and have clicked Guests can: Modify Event note: Invite other & see guest list are always checked and greyed out. However, when one of the guests go to modify the event they do not have the option to edit and they cannot make any type of change other then duplicating or copying to another calendar. What needs to happen for the invited guests to be able to edit the event? Note: the email is not a @gmail but instead a company @*** on the gmail platform.
  • (2018-09-17, v:0.3) Shabbir Hussain: Could you please deprecate this plugin?
As pointed on various comments this functionality is now a part of calendar settings page "Under Event Settings > Default Guest Permissions - change to Modify Event". Could you please deprecate this plugin saving some confusion on web of redundant functionalities?

  • (2018-01-03, v:0.3) manual override needed
I love this plug-in because I wish "modify event" were always selected by default. However, once in a while I need to make an event that's not modifiable. One example is that my Join.Me meeting maker plug-in does not work with events that are modifiable (I've complained to them, too...). Is there a way to have this plug-in installed but be able to uncheck "modify Event"? When the plugin is installed and I uncheck it, it just gets checked again automatically. I would like to be able to manually uncheck it to override the plugin sometimes. Thanks Leslie
