  • (2019-12-29) Spark: can confirm that it works for embedded swfs on websites, but all these other reviews are saying it doesn't work for local files
  • (2019-08-03) Leonardo Lamanna: NO FUNCIONA... PARA NADA! No sé cómo es que obtiene 3 estrellas de valoración (!?)
  • (2019-07-21) P N: I have no idea how to use it, clicking on the extension button provides no help, nothing. I'd like to extract images from .swf, I don't know if this tool could help me to achieve that.
  • (2019-07-19) Samey the Hedgie: This extension is literally the only one of its kind (I've tried searching, no luck) and it runs, ok. The problem is the flash file loads, plays for around 2-3 seconds and either buffers for a while or completely stops. specifically, i'm trying to play the individual .swf files from "the Best 404 Page" heres an example link: http://thebest404pageeverredux.com/swf/Love_The_Way_You_Move.swf when I go to that link, the .swf will load in, play a little, and then just stop or buffer for god knows how long. Can this please be fixed? Edit: Nevermind, I had to reload a few times for it to actually load in properly. Updated how many stars I gave it, but it shouldn't just stop and force me to reload 2-3 times for it to play the entire thing.. Edit 2: Ok, it appears this extension isn't broken at all. Flash files in general just seem to not want to play.. :/
  • (2019-05-27) Frederik Peder Finnerup Juel: Works as expected! Finally I can watch SWF files directly in Chrome again :) Note: It does not work for local files.
  • (2019-04-16) Dan Mapplethorpe: Doesn't work. Problem continues.
  • (2019-04-14) Marco Scaglioni: It could be even better if the dimension of the flash would adapt to fill all the size of the page.
  • (2019-01-16) Steven Cunnane: Doesn't work
  • (2018-10-10) Andrew Lyman-Buttler: Doesn't work for Chrome 69.0.3497.100
  • (2018-10-06) Илья Барабаш: does not work
  • (2018-09-17) Fernando Matías Toribio Soto: it does not work
  • (2018-09-02) John Petersen: Doesn't work for local or remote flash files. I wrote my own embed page (generator) and that also failed for local, but worked for remote. For anyone struggling, make a local .html with "<object data='...'></object>" in it (add your own width/height/etc.) If that doesn't work, add whitelists for file:///, localhost, etc. - YMMV.
  • (2018-08-24) Adam Looney: Works perfectly on Vivaldi using Chrome/65.0.3325 Thank you!
  • (2018-07-20) Michael Byrnes: It works.
  • (2018-07-09) Sam Robinson: Doesn't work for opening local swf files. Still downloads them instead of displaying.
  • (2018-06-07) Generic Extraordinaire: Works. Not on a chromebook though.
  • (2018-06-03) Jiaan Qi: Works as it says for webpage, but not drag-and-drop from local file.
  • (2018-05-03) Xoren Powell: Doesn't work, swf is still downloading, im using a chromebook
  • (2018-04-14) Nghia Truong Trong: Works perfect, make sure you don't use it with local file (file:///).
  • (2018-03-19) Hitechcomputergeek: Only works for .swf files on the Web, not for local .swf files which I've downloaded.
  • (2018-03-16) Jo C: Does exactly what it says. Let you open the swf files in new tab instead of downloading them.
  • (2018-03-10) William Yuan: This works perfectly
  • (2018-03-10) Feesh Unofficial: If you use a chromebook like me, the non-embedded swf files would just be downloaded and couldn't be played. With this extension it opens the non-embedded swf files instantly on a new tab. (I have no experience with this extension on any other device, only on Toshiba ChromeBook)
  • (2018-02-24) TAGfrost: Still prompts download. Doesn't work.
  • (2018-02-18) Corwin Bachran: Doesn't work. Flash files are still prompted to download instead of opening.
