This is a very simple chrome extension which allows you to estimate the amount of time it will take you to read a particular text. Select Select some text -> Right click -> Click estimate read time -> Enter you WPM -> Get estimated read time.

- (2025-01-16) Sorcha Cooper: Wouldn't load just buffered whenever I clicked the extension. All I saw was a blue box and an R and nothing happened no matter how many times I installed and removed it. Waste of my time. If I could I'd rate it 0 stars, it's completely useless.
- (2024-06-11) Priyam: The new update is nice, but there are a few bugs with the new update. It doesn't update when it already has a read time in its cache. I have to press "estimate read time" twice now on each page to see the updated read time for that page. Thanks for the great extension.

- (2024-03-29) Ziad Ahmed: The extension has a good and intuitive interface and it's very simple to use. One suggestion I would like to give is to allow us to quickly estimate the reading time of the current page by clicking on the extension's icon (See here for an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkI_joxwfZI). Right now I have to do Ctrl+A > Right click > Estimate read time. Thanks.
