Description from extension meta

Navigate UP through the levels of the current site via button or keyboard (ctrl+alt+u).

Image from store ezUP
Description from store ezUP adds an up arrow button to the omnibox (address bar). When you press the button a list of urls appears that lets you navigate up through the site hierarchy from the current url. Click the links to navigate to the urls within the tab or click the new tab/new window icons to open the urls in a new tab or new window. Aditionally, from within a page, press the keyboard shortcut: ctrl+alt+u to go up one level immediately. The keyboard shortcut also works within frames on the page, so it will work within my ezLinkPreview extension popups: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nnkcfbiefgdaceeplickkkmifpicbpcc

  • (2021-07-09) David Charlap: It gets the job done. I would prefer a different UI where a single click just goes up one level and where a right-click opens the menu we see today, but that's a matter of personal preference, not an actual problem.
  • (2012-05-28) Amy Beth Fitzpatrick: Does exactly what it says it will do, and works consistently with no problems. Going up through the levels of a website is something I do constantly, and this little extension saves me a lot of time and keystrokes. Just one click for each level up, and there I am! I have also used EZ Link Preview and EZ Search Overlay by this same developer, and they are excellent as well

This extension appears to be using jQuery 1.4. It is causing the following console error on every single page load: jquery-1.4.min.js:188 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getSelected' of undefined at jquery-1.4.min.js:188
  • (2018-09-11, v:1.5) George Targee: EZLink Preview
Sorry to keep bothering you with this issue on your EZlink Preview extension. I'm the one that keeps having the problem with having to 'repair' it when I reload Chrome. This morning the 'new' chrome was installed and when I loaded ezlink it didn't work. I went thru the 'repair' process again, which didn't fix it, then removed it and tried to reinstall it, but it won't show up in a search thru the Chrome extension store. Are you still having a problem with Chrome/Google or am I the only one with this issue. This is still one of the most used extensions I have and I would hate to lose it.
