• (2021-05-08) Ichmussja Willabernicht: Würde von der Verwendung abraten. Zum einen unpraktisch, weil man jeden Zugriff auf dem Trezor bestätigen muss und natürlich die Hardware dabei haben muss. Unausgereift ist es auch, z.B. lassen sich keine Login-Makros definieren lassen, sondern die Login-Daten werden sogar Random in irgendwelche Felder geschrieben, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Wenn es ganz blöd läuft, steht das Passwort schon mal im Klartext auf dem Bildschirm! Der Loginprozess ist bei vielen Webseiten unterschiedlich und erfordert manchmal auch eine kleine Verzögerung – hier alles nicht definierbar. Ein Export generiert eine Liste mit allen Passworten im Klartext (CSV), ich dachte mich trifft der Schlag. Die Passworte scheinen nach 15 Sekunden aus der Zwischenablage zu verschwinden, immerhin. Man muss auf jedem verwendeten PC die Extension installieren und ist sogar noch an einen bestimmten Browser gebunden. Sicherheit ist auch eine frage der Zuverlässigkeit des Zugriffs und akuell ist es so, dass ich zwar die Passwort Extension aufrufen kann, sie sagt auch dass ich mit Dropbox verbunden sei (dort wird nur verschlüsseltes abgelegt, da kann man wohl drauf vertrauen), jedoch geht es nicht weiter – Trezor getrennt, neu verbunden: nix. Browser neu gestartet: nix. Somit habe ich in diesem Moment keinerlei Zugriff auf die Passworte die ich testweise in der App abgelegt habe. Last but not least: man ist komplett davon abhängig, dass Dropbox verfügbar ist (zum einen also Internetverbindung und zum anderen dass man sich dort nicht entscheidet, auf einmal keine freien Accounts mehr bereitzustellen). Dass eine lokale Datei, die z.B. per OneDrive synchronisiert wird, nicht ausreicht, ist der größte Mangel dieser Lösung. Wer sich das geben will, müsste schon sehr leidensfähig sein. Ich bleibe bei KeePass in Kombination mit vernünftigem Master – Passwort plus jeweils lokal abgelegter Schlüsseldatei. Die Datenbank wird in der Cloud synchronisiert und somit lokal auf allen meinen Geräten verfügbar, immer und überall. Wird die Cloud gehackt, ist nur die extrem verschlüsselte Datenbank weg. Wird ein Rechner geklaut und die Festplatte entschlüsselt, fehlt noch immer das Passwort, welches für sich auch schon komplex genug ist, zumal ich in einem solchen Szenario alle Passworte ändern würde.

However I am missing some crucial features: 1) Autofill (matching by some smart search), some web-apps have forms as overlay, not accessible by single URL. The way how not autofill works is not very convinient. 2) have multiple URLs per record (will be needed for android integration for URLs like: "androidapp://de.flixbus.app") 3) Bulk edits for tagging & deletes (after import I wanted to clean it up) 4) Android app with autofill is crutial

The interface is absolutely user unfriendly: e.g., if you want to delete an entry you have to open it first, you cannot delete several entries, you cannot clear the database.

Trezor support is a DUD, they keep saying "maybe if not all developers are busy with Trezor T we will like to concentrate with developing for the Password Manager again" Thats not how a professional company should act and also the reason I did not buy the Trezor T (which, surprisingly has no support for the Password Manager in itself)
