Focus on first input (keyboard shortcut)
Adds a shortcut that focuses the cursor on the first text input.
The default shortcuts are:
'Alt+I' - to focus on the first input on the entire page
'Alt+S' - to focus on the first input visible on the screen
The shortcuts are fully rebindable via the extension shortcut menu (chrome://extensions/shortcuts).

Works as advertised. Love it! Thank you so much. This extension came as a recommendation from ChatGPT while I was trying to figure out if there was a keyboard shortcut for this Focus or a way that I could map one myself. Ironically the only website that this has not worked for me on so far is this one, chrome web store. LOL. Oh well, can't win them all.
Work most of the web sites. However, one of the website that does not work for me is claude.ai
The biggest problem with this extension is that it uses Chrome to manage the keyboard shortcut binding. That prevents a lot of key combinations from being used. Other extensions get around this by managing the keyboard shortcuts through other means, such as MouseTrap (Javascript library). The second issue is that it only covers focusing on the first input. It's missing the additional options to jump to the next and previous inputs. If these two issues are addressed, this would be a much better extension.
Thank you very much. Have a good day!
I wrote it, but I love it. 😊

Fabulous! Thank you. Works really well. I couldn't on earth understand why chrome doesn't have any shortcut for this function. So necessary for searching only with keyboard. Thanks a lot.
