No need to paste, just click the icon. My only proviso would be that it would be nice to be able to paste a collection of URLs that are in the X-Windows copy buffer rather than just the clipboard maintained by the desktop environment (Gnome/KDE/etc).
  • (2012-09-23) This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a habit of keeping lists of "to do/later" type of links in plain text files, so this is a real time saver. Would be nice if there was a shortcut key (such as Ctrl+Shift+V), but I'm afraid Chrome has limitations in this regard... (?)
