• (2021-12-22) Melissa Plotts: This is an INCREDIBLE extension, and I honestly don't feel like I can live without it now. I have used this thousands of times, and I can't even begin to calculate how much TIME IT'S SAVED ME, not just in adding in the grades, but also in preventing the human error I sometimes make when entering the grades myself. I use it to pull grades that I've imported from Google Classroom and enter them into Genesis, our district grading program. I can not say enough about the usefulness of GradeTransferer. It's one of those things that once you know about it and use it, you can never imagine going back. There have a been a few times I've had to live without it, sadly - once when Google was updating something and an update needed to happen for the extension to continue to be compatible with it, and again when our district didn't (yet) renew its subscription. Both times David has been AMAZING in exchanging emails with me. I'm just a teacher, not an admin, or even a tech point person in our district. Nonetheless, he is responsive, friendly, professional, and helpful in explaining some ins and outs of the tech stuff in the most helpful and respectful way. I am such a big fan of this extension (and its creator!), that I ran a workshop for a district in-service on how to use it and made a brief how-to video to send out to a few colleagues during remote learning.

All of the extra time saved from not having to manually move grades from GC to IC and whatever magic the developers did for it to be so EASY to transfer them make this worth the cost! Highly highly recommend this extension for all teachers that want to save time doing silly tasks like transferring already graded scores between various platforms.

I no longer use this service as my school switched to schoology, so all my grades are in one place. I emailed 3 different email addresses and reached out on Facebook as there is no clear way to cancel the service. I got no response even though I contacted multiple times. Today my old bank card was charged causing me an overdraft and still no way to cancel this service. Absolutely disgusting that there is no clear way to end or cancel a renewal. I clicked the link they emailed to click and nothing. Thanks for a service I don't need and a $40 overdraft, the gift that just keeps on giving.

I can transfer 120 grades from sheets (and google classroom and big ideas and a bunch of other places) into PowerSchool in legit 2 seconds. I also needed help once (bc I was being stupid) and they saw what I was doing wrong and fixed me up right away. Great tech support if you need it!

Well this year we went to a new Learning Management System and it was automatically transferring grades to IC. Yeah well, it was not nearly as reliable as this extension! So I'm back to using it and it never fails!
• (2020-12-08) Neil Lindstrom: This Extension used to be the best with seamless transfer from Google Classroom to PowerSchool. I never used to have to worry about accuracy and completely trusted it. Ever since it went to a subscription model it has stopped being accurate. It tries to transfer too quickly and often enteres multiple marks under the same student causeing it to error out as it tries to move to the next student. The accuracy is horrible and it's become a waste of time as I have to correct the majority of the entries. Too bad, it used to be amazing!

Here's the thing, my school now has SIS Export BUT if there is any reason why your gradebook and classroom roster do not match, the SIS will fail you. I have separated my classes into hybrid a, b, and remote, and GradeTransferer will place each grade in the correct spot in my online gradebook anyway. This is such a time saver!

Also when I transfer test grades from Schoology assessments into Aspen it is transferring the number correct out of the number of questions instead of taking their numerical grade out of 100% for example if there are 25 questions and they answer 20 correctly it is putting the 20 in and not the 80%.

  Do my google classroom rosters have to match my rosters in Aspen? For example, can I have a google classroom which includes all students in grade 6, but in Aspen, they are divided into three separate homerooms. So when I transfer grades, will Grade Transferer transfer the grades for just the students it sees in that one homeroom? And then I would repeat the process for the second and third homeroom? OR do I need to make sure I have separate google classrooms to match each homeroom roster?

  We were made aware of a potential issue with some districts late yesterday evening have been working on a solution since. We have a working solution at the moment being packaged for distribution. The v.1991 update improved the speed of GradeTransferer for filling into PowerTeacherPro, but it seems to be causing some inadvertent issues in with select configurations of the platform that had minor issues with filling to begin with. We are deploying a fix at this time, which should be available in the next few days as v1.992. Hopefully by the time you come back from the weekend, or early next week things will be perfect; not too fast and not too slow! GradeTransferer works with a lot of different platforms and district integrations. With everyone updating their software in preparation for the start of the regular school year to handle the millions of students, things sometimes conflict and can cause problems. A remedy can usually be done implemented for all affected users within a week’s time (a lot faster than a pandemic…). Thank you for your patience while we work to make your life easier!

  Hi there, I love the extension and have been using it for a while now! I have an issue where the last names of my students are different between Infinite Campus and Google Classroom. It is especially an issue with students with multiple last names (e.g. it will be John AdamCarson in Google Classroom, but John Adam Carson in Infinite Campus (fake name obviously!)). When I try to transfer grades for these students will be left blank. Is there any way to fix this issue? Thanks!

  When I use it to transfer grades, it does not automatically go from one student to the next. Instead I have to keep clicking "Fill data". Is there a way to fix this? I was able to copy from google classroom fine but then in Power Teacher Pro, I have to click "fill data" so with 160 students that is more time consuming then entering them manually.

  Hi there, This is the first time I have attempted to use your product. I cannot seem to get it to work. I have watched several tutorials and restarted my browser numerous times. It seems like a great idea! Can you help me troubleshoot?

  My school has blocked my account from rating anything on Google, so even if I wanted to, I can't. So, could you please remove the pop up after transferring my grades telling me I've transferred so many that I must like your app (which I do) and push the only button available to you to force you to opening another tab and ruin all your progress. If you could fix this or give me another button, or show me another button that I'm missing to solve my issue, I would really appreciate it.
