2. Navigate to your gradebook and click "Fill Data" to paste them into your gradebook.

DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY
GradeTransferer was built with around one core principle: student personally identifiable information never leaves the teacher’s computer.
We do not store, collect, sell, receive, or share any personally identifiable student data. Temporary data is encrypted and stored securely under the authenticated teacher's Chrome profile locally on their computer under their account.

USE OF DATA DISCLOSURE
For account authentication and service improvement, the following limited data is transmitted securely:
– Name, username, and email (for teacher login and identity verification)
– Number of grades successfully transferred (for development metrics)
– Website URLs used (to detect platform compatibility)

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Karen Handy 2025-04-01: I previously tried a different grade transfer tool. This extension is far superior! And so is the customer service! I began looking for an alternative after becoming frustrated with the inability to update previously entered grades without first deleting the scores. Grade Transferer does that and so much more! The previous tool I used required that when grabbing assignment data the assignment had to be on the far left. The tool could only grab visible data, meaning that I had to reduce the font to an unreadable size to get everything. Then change it back to locate and move the next assignment to the far left repeating the whole process for each assignment. Then, I tried Grade Transferer...I had no idea it could be so easy. I only have to click into the first score for grabbing and filling. I'm going to save so much time, it's amazing! Another shout out to customer service! Before trying, I reached out to GT. I received a response within the hour. I received 2 more the same day in response to questions I had. I reached out to the other tool first, no response yet.
Dean Foulks 2025-03-20: This extension makes me so much more efficient! I can give work to students, grade, and post in the same period, instant feedback does so much to improve student performance! I love that it allows me adjust for discrepancies between Gradebook and Classroom names, and create custom grades. The use of Grade Transferer also prevents from transcription errors that come up in large classrooms, I can't tell you how many times in the past I had found I missed a keystroke and had to reenter 25 or more student grades! With Grade Transferer, forgetaboutit! ANy time I have an issue, the tech support people are amazing, they get me back on my feet the same day almost always, and they are so helpful and friendly! I keep coming back, I've been a subscriber since 2020 and don't plan on ever not being one! Can't recommend this enough!
PATRICIA MCCARTHY 2025-03-20: This program is indispensable. I have been using this program for over 5 years and I can not say enough about how it helps speed grading and increases accuracy when transferring grades between programs. A definite must for new and seasoned teachers. Any time I have had issues tech support was prompt, polite and efficient.
Jim Schmidt 2025-03-19: This extension really helps save time and improve the accuracy of entering grades from Google Classroom. I use it to import grades into Infinite Campus and it is a huge time saver when I need to input grades at the end of a grading period. I have been using this for five years now and I cannot imagine entering these grades manually.

This happened for two years in a row. I wrote to support and they had my subscription canceled and my last year refunded within a day. Good work!
Wenching Chiang 2024-03-04: Works well for getting grades from Google Classroom to Powerschool. And there has been bugs which I do not know how to solve it. NOW Gradetransfer has tech support Google Meet. The tech person John P was very helpful. He guided me step by step and made advanced adjustment, now it works! I am very happy with the meeting and looking forwards using it.
Joey Carney 2023-12-03: Works well for getting grades from Google Classroom to Powerschool, but there has been a bug for a couple weeks and I've been having to do it manually. In their defense, they have to wait for Google to roll out their fixes, but I had to pay for this add on and it's still not working.

I have used this thousands of times, and I can't even begin to calculate how much TIME IT'S SAVED ME, not just in adding in the grades, but also in preventing the human error I sometimes make when entering the grades myself. I use it to pull grades that I've imported from Google Classroom and enter them into Genesis, our district grading program. I can not say enough about the usefulness of GradeTransferer. It's one of those things that once you know about it and use it, you can never imagine going back. There have a been a few times I've had to live without it, sadly - once when Google was updating something and an update needed to happen for the extension to continue to be compatible with it, and again when our district didn't (yet) renew its subscription. Both times David has been AMAZING in exchanging emails with me. I'm just a teacher, not an admin, or even a tech point person in our district. Nonetheless, he is responsive, friendly, professional, and helpful in explaining some ins and outs of the tech stuff in the most helpful and respectful way. I am such a big fan of this extension (and its creator!), that I ran a workshop for a district in-service on how to use it and made a brief how-to video to send out to a few colleagues during remote learning.

Also, the customer support is 2nd to none with responding within minutes of my cry for help since some of our school district's configurations changed. I was able to get the exact response I needed. I no longer use this service as my school switched to schoology, so all my grades are in one place. I emailed 3 different email addresses and reached out on Facebook as there is no clear way to cancel the service. I got no response even though I contacted multiple times. Today my old bank card was charged causing me an overdraft and still no way to cancel this service. Absolutely disgusting that there is no clear way to end or cancel a renewal. I clicked the link they emailed to click and nothing. Thanks for a service I don't need and a $40 overdraft, the gift that just keeps on giving.

It does take some adjustment to get it to work with each different schools setup but the developer personally responded to our issues after an email and quick solutions were made. This is a great tool for pulling grades from classroom into our grading software (Powerschool).
