Simply click on the icon to rename the tab title.

- (2023-09-12) Bart Cook: I really, really like this and use it a lot. I routinely have about 30 tabs open in Brave and use this to name more than half of them. When I restart Brave (after an update or after a reboot - otherwise I leave it running all the time), I see the tabs are initially loaded with the names I have given them, but as soon as I click on a tab it reverts to the "normal" name, not the name I have given it. This is valuable enough that I also routinely go thru and rename all the tabs as soon as I have loaded Brave, but it seems like, since the names are there after a restart until I select the tab, it might be fairly easy to have them persist. I hope, anyway. Maybe this is unique to Brave but works for Chrome?

Would love if renaming an already renamed tab would keep the current title in the edit box (or the current title would be always prefilled and preselected in the box, so you could add something or just replace it just by typing the new name).
- (2018-12-05) Ethan M: Good good. Tab ReTitle does exactly what it's supposed to do. Really useful for labeling the mouse-over text in my browser sidebar, as not all websites do such a good job of setting an intuitive page title for their web pages/apps.
