Escapist

An incredibly simple extension that closes tabs with the Escape key.

If Google finalizes the (currently experimental) keybinding API I’ll no longer have to inject code into every page to capture the keypress, eliminating that “access your data on all websites” warning and improving reliability.

Internal Chrome pages (such as the New Tab page) can’t be injected, thus no keybinding, thus no Esc to close. There’s nothing I can do about it for the time being.
