Signifier views the internet as a public space where everyone is free to offer ideas and distractions without asking for permission. By challenging the original hierarchy of the website, Signifier frees the text to mean more things to more people.
After installing, select any text on any page and click the 'sig' button in the top right hand corner of your browser. Signifier then makes the text into a hyperlink, visible to all the signifier community, pointing to any page on the internet.
