Retain your point in videos even after browser crashes and restarts

Image from store Youtube Time Keeper
Description from store A simple extension to keep the current time of Youtube videos in the address bar. Every second, the URL is updated to contain "t=[current time]". This makes videos resume where they left off in the event that chrome is closed accidentally, crashes, or a tab is suspended through another means such as with the extension "The Great Suspender". Known issues: - Hourglass button looks broken in full screen mode 0.0.0.7: - Fixed an issue resulting in the tab icon blinking sometimes, or sometimes causing a memory leak. 0.0.0.6: - Minor changes - Icon and screenshot added 0.0.0.5: - Hourglass button turns red when timer is disabled - URL is updated to look like "t=3m21s" instead of "t=201" for times over a minute 0.0.0.4: - Fixed cases where the button may not show until after the page fully loads 0.0.0.3: - Added a button on youtube videos to disable the timer. Useful when sharing videos from the beginning. 0.0.0.2: - fixed a bug that spammed the right click menu of the back button

  • (2021-11-11) Mehmet Metin: I just started to use it and it works good for now. All you do not have to do is clicking url. Url clicking disrupts the algorithm of the extension.
  • (2020-02-01) Srirang Girish: Really useful but sometimes if you're at 13 min and 21 seconds it puts you at 13 seconds, and it also adds a new entry to your history for every second, if those two things could be fixed I'd easily give it a five star.
  • (2018-12-28) Rainbow Warrior Princess: High CPU-Load when activated, video stuttering.
  • (2016-12-19) Ian hintz: It completely clogs my web history, making it impossible to find webpages I'd been to earlier. Other than that, it's awesome.
  • (2016-08-14) Seth: I love it! Thank you for writing this extension. I was getting annoyed of losing my spot with The Great Suspender, this is simple and works great. I haven't used it enough to determine if there is any noticeable battery impact. Edit: Oh god, my history :O This adds an entry to your history every second of YouTube you watch...
  • (2016-05-06) ‫محمد ناصر (المكي)‬‎: I hope that you can add this Feature : to save the video in specific time , so that every time i open the video it starts at the time i have sett For Example this video starts at 02:50 by its URL : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA770wpLX-Q&t=2m45s i hop that you can find a whey to make it start at the seem time Automatically by the extension without the need to save the URL of the video. I meen that if i opend the original URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA770wpLX-Q of the video or I opend it from the youtube Search or google Search the video starts Automatically from the time i sett. Please if you could find a way to do that Alert me and Communicates with me by : [email protected] Thank for your time.
  • (2015-12-05) Thomas Kolozsvary: I was looking something like this. Works great. Edit: I'm not sure if this is a larger issue with Chromium, but I've noticed a major issue with this extension when using Vivaldi browser. The button pop-up menus for my other plugins are flickering from the time update every second. It can't maintain the state of dynamic content such as dictionary entries and login forms. Hope you find a fix for this soon as I can't use the plugin as it is right now -_-
