• (2023-09-10) Govind Rai: This does indeed block, but not on the first load, which is what I want (it blocks network requests in the background) and should be explicitly noted in the extension's description. Also the UI is pretty unintuitive. Kudos to the dev who made this. I'm sure once you figure out the UI and regex testing, and if you need to block background requests, this definitely does the job.

  I've added this to the block list: https://twitter.com/home - but if I actually go to exactly that URL, it works fine. (I've worked around the issue for now by blocking https://twitter.com/i/api/2/timeline/home.json) Also, I think the Test URL field updates on key-events to the Regex field, but it's not reevaluating when I change that field by double-clicking on a row in the blacklist.

  I put in a URL like "https://nordvpn.com" and when I test it in the test box below the entry, it keeps saying "not blocked"; is this a bug or did I fail to understand how this works? Maybe some sample examples would help. Please advise

  Some of the sites I have been needing to block are usually activated by popup window, or opening new tab. Perhaps newer versions can either auto-close, or reject any detected activation and prevent the popup before it activates?
