Page saver

Description from extension meta Saves the current web page as one file with all external dependencies (style, script, images) downloaded and inlined
Image from store Page saver
Description from store Saves a complete web page in its current state as one file with all external dependencies (scripts, stylesheets, images) inlined into the page. Useful if you want to archive a page, test your website on any device or for SEO purposes. It's also useful to compute the footprint of your page: how much data does a first time visitor have to download? Works perfectly with popular Javascript frameworks such as JQuery, Modernizr, AngularJS, Knockout, Bootstrap, etc. Note that while an inlined page can still connect to JSON or XML webservices, the inlined page does not persist security information or sessions so you may run into authentication issues. Version 1.4.1 * Fixed: <link> tags were skipped if not all lowercase Version 1.4.0 * Vastly improved speed * Resolved issues with inlining never ending * Resolved issue with adblockers interfering with inlining * Added support for images in <embed> and <source srcset> tags Version 1.3.0 * Added: overlay with progress information and button to stop inlining and get the page immediately * Added: when clicking on the Chrome menu icon, users get instructions to use the right-click menu Version 1.2.2 * Fixed: timeout still fired even if the page was saved normally * Fixed: illegal characters in downloaded file name * Fixed: some problems with downloading resources are now fixed Version 1.2.1 * Removed invalid characters from filename when saving the inlined page Version 1.2 * Major rewrite for speed improvement * Added options page * Fixed problems that were preventing certain webpages from being inlined Version 1.1.5 * Renamed to Page saver Version 1.1.4 * Fixed: img tags without src attribute caused the inlining process to fail Version 1.1.3 * Fixed: @import statements in stylesheets weren't processed * Fixed: url() and @import statements in already inline stylesheets weren't processed * Fixed: page output was saved with incorrect character encoding Version 1.1.2 * Fixed: prevented process from halting when any resource couldn't be downloaded Version 1.1.1 * Fixed: url() references in CSS that contained certain characters were not inlined Version 1.1 * Fixed: url() references in CSS were not inlined * Fixed: pages without external resources were not being saved * Added: meta tag with source URL and timestamp * Added: activity indication while inlining resources * Changed: source URL is used to create filename Version 1.0 * Initial release
Latest reviews (2019-07-13) AtomiX: Очень очень очень плохо. Сохраненные страницы весят много а содержат мало. (2019-05-23) Станислав Буценко: Требует доработки. Страница сохраняется кривая. (2019-03-12) Isaac Naylor: It works (2019-03-06) Sakorn Saokaew: It's working for me. Try it yourself before trusting the reviews. (2019-01-10) John Smith: расширение только htm , нет ни mht ни maff . =( (2018-12-10) Chook Kin Wai: no idea why 1 star was given by some users... look fine for me (2018-12-08) Salar Zeynali: People complaining and giving 1star rating, and then don't answer the dev's question to give some aid in solving possible bugs. This kind of behaviour always makes me mad... (2018-11-03) Daren Beattie: Some of the 1-star reviews had me worried, but this extension worked perfectly for me on all three pages I just tried. One of them took a couple of minutes to resolve 77 external references, but it finished successfully. I ended up looking for something like this extension because I had previously been using Firefox to save a complete web page, which works fine, but Firefox likes to use odd characters in the file and folder names (a pipe to separate the domain name from the page title, plus any characters the page authors put in the title). This extension uses a sane file name, and no external references to insane file paths are needed. (2018-05-17) Simon Baars: Hopeful extension, sadly it kept loading indefinitely after clicking save webpage... (2018-01-16) Katalin Kelemen: This doesn't work at all. Stay away! (2017-12-20) André Luiz França Batista: Doesnt work at all. Try at different websites. Waste of a time. (2017-12-02) Kiril Volkov: Just doesn't work. When you click it nothing happens, no error report. Tried it on a different PC, nothing happens. Turned off other extentions - same story. (2017-11-29) William Kolasa: Doesn't work. I clicked the button and nothing happens. Also, there's no option to configure where files are saved. I downloaded this extension on 11/29/17. (2017-10-17) share apps3: good job flawless (2017-01-03) Bas Franke: I've been looking ages for something like this!
