  • (2021-04-06) Bradley D. Thornton: Simple, and does exactly what it is supposed to do, unlike wappalyzer, built by, and all of the other heavy and bloat laden extensions I've tried. When trying to figure out, exactly, what framework emojipedia, for example, is using ALL of the others failed, giving me little snippets of extemporaneous aspects of that and other websites.... But not CMS detect! Plain and simple, I clicked on the icon, it thought about it for a couple of seconds while it tested the site, and then Whammo! Django popped up, correctly so. None, and I mean absolutely NONE of the other big boys ever once returned a result. Why would anyone use them if they don't do what they say their supposed to do? Again, plain and simple, When I go to say, a Bludit site or a Grav site... bang! CMS detect correctly identifies it and says that's what is running on that site. Why others make things so complicated I dunno, but I'm definitely a fan of CMS Detect and have since trashed Wappalyzer because it simply doesn't work for anything unless it's a wordpress site you're visiting. Really? Like that's the only CMS in existence? I've made my choice and CMS Detect works great for me. That's my story, and I'm stickin' with it ;) .
