- (2021-02-05) Alyssa Whetstone: This extension visits Facebook every X seconds to check for new notifications/messages. Some time after adding it, I got a message on Facebook saying that there was suspicious activity on my account and I needed to change my password. I did so but then a few days later my account was disabled and they required me to give photo/video proof that I was human. After I got my account back this happened again in succession 3 or 4 times over about a month. I was extremely frustrated and worried I would lose my Facebook account and I didn't know what was happening. Then I finally remembered the extension and realized that that was it. As soon as I removed the extension my account stopped having issues. These extensions used to work fine but it seems that Facebook has changed their policies with them. I would strongly recommend against anyone using them now and I think they should be removed from the Chrome Web Store for user safety.

I have 'unread' notifications on Facebook but they are not appearing on the extension icon even with Facebook open in a tab. Is there a step I need to take to grant permissions to your extension? Hi. I really like the extension. It's exactly what I was looking for. I'd like to offer a suggestion to improve it. Would it be possible to not have the counter appear on the badge if it's zero? That way, when there ARE notifications, it'll be more apparent. Thanks!
