  • (2021-01-04) Kento: Great tool! I'm impressed by the algorithm. But, I found several issues. 1. When using innerText and the target element contains other tags (e.g. <a> tag which is a child of <p> tag), the result table will be corrupted. 2. For combining childPosition with other conditions, you should use "position()=n". "[n]" cannot be used with other conditions. In "[n and @class='a']", n is evaluated as a boolean expression, so it is equaivalent to "[@class='a']".

  • (2019-08-22) Christopher Grossarth: I was banging my head against a wall trying to figure out why Google Chrome's XPath queries were not compatible with Google Sheets "IMPORTXML" function. I was about to give up hope until I found this extension. Not only that, it is light on permissions, as most of the similar apps automatically set themselves up to view all website data by default. An excellent extension, thanks again!
