If you cannot see the button, click on the jigsaw-icon next to the address bar, then click on the pin symbol next to kdp spy. Search something on amazon.com and click on the now pinned kdp spy button.

• (2023-10-07) Cary: I can not get this to work. I have tried to stop it on first page and then it just disappears. The keyword tool just runs and runs never ending. I see from other reviews that this has been a problem, when will it be fixed? I have tried to remove the extension and reinstall, I have logged in to other accounts as well and it still does not work.

• (2023-05-03) Ivett Dolmany: It works great but initially I had run into the issue that the extension wouldn't work as shown in the tutorial and the result would disappear before I could read it. However, it works in incognito mode. Just make sure you go into the 'manage extension' option and click 'Allow in incognito'. Hopefully this might help someone.
• (2023-04-22) Alexis Adams: I am paying for the pro subscription and this extension does not work. It starts off scanning the amazon pages, but then disappears before I can read the information. Pretty much worthless.
• (2023-04-10) Clare Bloomfield: I had the same frustrating issue of disappearing results that many have mentioned. After trying everything, disabling all other extensions etc, making sure I was logged in to BookBolt, as a last resort I tried from a different Google account profile that I had and low and behold, it works perfectly! I then tried from another Google account that I have and still works. I'm not sure what the issue is with my main Google profile but if anyone is having problems, maybe try on a different profile. You can easily set one up as a spare. I know it's not the perfect answer but at least it's a work around. Hope this helps someone :)
• (2023-03-19) LivingLoving ActonW3: Works perfectly. Obviously you need to log in and have a paid subscription just like any paid software / extension. Those saying it doesnt work are trying to use it without a free trial or a paid monthly membership, no wonder it doesnt work lol

• (2023-03-11) failed scientist cafe: Paid for the bookbolt pro just so i could use kdpspy and it doesnt work at all. Added extension...clicked on extension...signed into extension....went onto amazon and typed dog books...clicked on extension...pressed start....0 products from page......in short...it didnt work and Im out 20 dollars. I will add that I've been trouble shooting on and off for a few days including uninstalling and reinstalling. Very disappointed that this isnt working because jungle scout is so much more expensive. Feeling so frustrated and burned out. Please try to fix this extension to work correctly.
• (2023-03-10) Juan B: Unfortunately the chrome extension was too glitchy. It would start fine and after a few seconds the information from the books would just disappear. It tried it a few times and it did the same. Rebooted my laptop but the glitch is still there. I have not had any issues with other chrome extensions before, and I don't feel like trouble shooting this one. I gave it a shot. Thanks for the free trial.

• (2022-10-30) Penelope Howard: At the moment, two days after BookBolt says it pushed an update for the disappearing search results (yes, all other extensions are disabled, page is rebooted and it starts the search, starts loading results, then vanishes) it still is doing the same thing. Its aggravating! Please fix this! Also, how do I submit a help desk ticket? I looked on the site but couldn't find the help desk so I came here.

I was having trouble getting it to work also, but if you follow the tutorial on Book Bolt's page for installing and using KDP Spy you should be able to get it to work. I was using a link to Amazon from my bookmark bar instead of actually going to a new page and typing in amazon.com. Once I did this, everything worked as expected.

• (2021-09-04) Betty Yott: I am going with 3 stars simply because I cannot get it to work , so I don't hate it. I have installed the extension. It shows that it is turned on. I go to Amazon, type in a search for books, then go to my extensions. At this point I click on the KDP Spy and from this point on I have no clue what to do. Can someone please create a tutorial on how to get this extension to work properly? Just telling me to type in a search in Amazon first, then click on KDP Spy does not help me as nothing is happening. If I could potentially see what I am missing or doing wrong it would help my frustration level tremendously. Thank you.

• (2021-08-14) Marco Monge: I just downloaded this and it is working fine for me. Perhaps you're just not using it correctly. Make your search on Amazon first. Then click the extension button. I had to click on reset before it would load. Maybe that's why it wasn't working for some of you. Works fine for me

• (2021-07-04) Sarah Larson: I see a lot of reviews that say this extension doesn't work, but as long as you have a Book Bolt account, I don't see why it shouldn't work. I absolutely love this Chrome extension, and I use it all the time to do keyword research for my KDP business. I only took off one star because I don't like how when I type in a keyword I'm going for, it brings me a TON of options, many of which are only remotely related to the keyword. And then I have to dig through everything to find the ones I really want. I've been able to combat this by using CTRL+F to search for them, but I'd love if the most relevant ones would be shown at the top. All in all, excellent extension! I'd highly recommend it.
• (2021-06-27) Cherisa: A great tool I have found using this extension beneficial especially when searching for key words. I found out that you have to be using the American version of Amazon (.com) for it to work. So if you are having issues use the .com version and it will work well. It would be great if in the future KDP spy could work on other Amazon websites worldwide for a comparison.
• (2021-06-21) Michelle: Like others said, it doesn't work. I have a Bookbolt account and was able to log in and get the search function to work the first time, but it would never pop up again. Nothing happens when the extension is clicked. I uninstalled it, turned off adblocker, closed Chrome, reinstalled it, still nothing.

• (2021-05-20) Ian Woods: DISHONEST. nowhere here does it say its a paid extension trying to masquerade as a free one when you waste your time installing it. doesn't work just gives you a link to go to a website to register, still doesn't mention you need to pay. When you get to the website its a minimum payment of 10 dollars a month to use it. TOTALLY DISHONEST COMPANY.. wouldn't trust a company that tries this deception
• (2021-05-19) Fisnik Sylka: I see a lot of people saying it's not working, but you're probably not using it correctly since it works great for me. Go to Amazon.com and search for a book. After the results are populated, click on the KDP Spy extension icon which will make a box pop-up where you have to click the Start button so that the extension can start retrieving data.
