Description from store Bookmarks Manager's functionality can shape all of your browser usage experience. Thus, 'TabIt - BookMarks' will make your Google Chrome even more beneficial. It replaces the default manager, available at chrome://bookmarks, with the one, you will actually love to use. You can have some folder to be the default(Home Folder) for you to open and save bookmarks to. There are four options for bookmarks' thumbnails: Default, None, Captured & Branded. Default and Captured thumbnails are usually screenshots of the corresponding web-sites. Benefits of the 'branded' thumbnails are best revealed, when used in a 'Home Folder'. Three different layouts are available: Grid(of thumbnails), List & NarrowList(similar to the one in Chrome 62). 'TabIt - NewTab' comes in two themes - Light & Dark. Sorting can be done in either: Old-to-New, New-to-Old or Alphabetic order + Put-Folders-First option. Available keyboard keys and ShortCuts are intuitive. ONE MORE THING: There is a browser-action dialog window, available through the extension-button, meant to replace a traditional 'star' button to create bookmarks. (2023-07-08) Lolka Kekik: Awesome! in compact view it looks like the old proper bookmark manager in Chrome (before google decided to switch it to useless material design with huge stupid spacing) and this app also have more additional features!

(2021-06-19) Sankalp Bohra: I would rate 4 out of 5. Everything is very simple and clear. The way bookmarks are viewed thats elegant. Only 1 feature I am expecting to be part of it, "Sorting bookmarks by domain". Thats the main feture I was trying in bookmark managers search and then landed to this. But unfortunately it is also missing the desired feature. Any plans to incorporate this?
(2019-08-25) Michael Ahumibe: Rating this 5 out of 5 to counter the 2 star I saw. I think this extension is how the tabs should be in Chrome out of the box. Dunno if Google are making the bookmarks useless on purpose so that you have to search for things but this makes them useful again.
(2019-06-01) Haki Olinki: Working solution for the old bookmarks chrome system. New bookmarks are opened to a new tab, by right mouse button, first option, or by alt+enter.

Особенно понравилось и нужны планируемые функции: + Availability of offline versions of bookmarked pages and files + Search bar(engine) - надеюсь, что поиск и по сохранённым версиям страниц будет, а не только по закладкам. Но есть баги и в уже реализованном функционале. Самый весомый - в некоторых папках не отображается половина и даже больше существующих закладок.
(2018-10-10) Jay Bolt: The solid/empty folder icon usage in the left side nav-panel seems arbitrary. Use an empty (outline) folder to mean no subfolders, and be consistent. Don't flip solid/empty on hover or select or expand or... Use the same folder icon styles in the right side bookmarks panel too. It took me two weeks to discover that clicking on on the folder (expand tree) had a different action from clicking the folder name (display bookmarks). If I ignore the empty/solid folder noise on the left, it seems to work pretty well. I like the contribution you're making but I think you'd have more success if you teamed up with one of the other Bookmark Manager extensions.

the extension consumes a lot of memory, since the start of the browser. On brave Task Manager >> 315.900K. The solution is to open the extension to see the bookmarks, and then close it. (do not disable it). the consumption goes down to 25,000-27,000K /// Brave browser Versión 0.65.121 Chromium: 75.0.3770.100 (Build oficial) (32 bits)
(2019-03-19, v:7.3.2) F FEPA: hide folders that are not interesting to manage from the app
in the sidebar where the folder tree is shown: hide a folder in the tree (without deleting the folder of interest). In order to focus attention on the desired ones. Another suggestion could be to make favorite folders and that this impacts the visibility of the folder.
