• (2025-07-15) Will Pugh-Calotte: Great and easy to use if you prefer to keep offline installers of your extensions. You can use CRX Extractor/Downloader to retrieve offline installers for MV2 extensions that cannot otherwise be downloaded from here. There was also a period when sign-in (to prove that one was an adult) was demanded in order to install a certain extension, but CRX Extractor/Downloader enabled me to retrieve the offline installer for that extension without sign-in. Failing that, you can also visit the creators' "CRX Extractor" website to complete the same kind of download. I don't understand how some reviewers are claiming that they had to rate CRX Extractor/Downloader before it would work for them. I've been using it for quite a long time now, and I've just decided now to write a review for it out of satisfaction with the extension.
