- (2022-04-13) Mandy Harvey: We have tried so many extensions so far, especially for email tracking within Gmail. Almost all of those weren’t free. Some said free on the chrome extension title but once logged in, we were asked to choose a paid plan. But we didn’t experience such things with Salesgear. We are able to track emails and URLs directly from Gmail itself. For a free extension like this, their customer support is too kind, answering all of our questions patiently. As for a business, Salesgear’s email tracker is helpful. We save a lot of time. We’ve heard that this team also has an app for sales engagement sort of thing. We might try that in the future as we reach out to almost 1,000 prospects a day.

- (2021-11-13) VM Service Tech: Without subscription It creates a totally useless toolbar in the email interface. It asks to sign up. After that: Free Trial - 14 days remaining. Monthly subscription $69/ seat. Free Email Tracker - Gmail is a misleading title. I removed it from Chrome and wanted to disable the freshly created account. But it's impossible without contacting support staff. It says: Write to us [email protected] to disable your account and remove all your personal data associated with Salesgear.io. Now I have to communicate with those guys to disable my account. It's a total waste of my time. I wish I could read honest reviews before installing it.

I was surprised, that it handled link tracking when I opened the link that I sent to a prospect - this failed with so many other paid version, this is well built. Sending email notification on email opens like how mailtrack does would be a great addition to your offering.

The best part about the extension is : 1.I get to know the number of times the recipient has opened my email. 2.The exact time when it was opened. It helps a lot in analyzing the recipients open and reply timings. This is a great metrics for any marketing professional. It will definitely improve the efficiency of the user in so many ways.
