Description from store The default behaviour of ctrl+click, shift+click, cmd+click (on macOS) and middle-click when clicking on links is to open the link in a new tab or new window. This behaviour is sometimes broken by careless developers. This add-on restores the default behaviour, ensuring the modifier keys always cause links to open in a new tab.

At first it worked as I expected, but now it's not. I use this in both Firefox and Chrome and it's doing the same thing where when I open a page, the page doesn't load and I have to refresh each page to finally get it to load. I want to add that I got both through the browser and not off Git Hub.     Hello i wanted to know if there can be issues if i switch keys used, like with the same or others, i did mouse binding exchange or modifications with the AHK langage for the browsers and the partial or totally compatible applications by default and further. Example to not use the middle button and/or modifiers, the left button longer could trigger to start an anodin URL opening to a new tab in the background. I didn't had problem for my part, only with shift in a special mode alternative, when AHK always know when a key is down, it does not detect it but the browser continue the shift key in a status down, so when you send ctrl+w even checking if the shift status is down or not before close a tab, will close the browser, it's mostly intentional because if we do not keep shift down the mouse will not be able to retrieve its down status like previously, in fact it's more with the mouse(not the keyboard) at trigger initialisation, we have to choose to get the right click context menu stay opened after a text selection or a way to get back the mouse in a always scrolling locked status. The keys are not send directly to the browser(s), they are always modified before to be send as other key(s) in the browser.
