- As a full-time student, and mother, with ADHD--this app has been a lifesaver. I was extremely hesitant at first, but I am glad I gave it a chance. I use it so much for any reading material I have assigned to me in school, and I use it even when I'm researching stuff because it gives you the ability to have just about anything read to you that you are looking at online. It has been so helpful to me and I use it multiple times a day, all week long. The ability to create material you're reading in to a podcast is awesome as well. I was worried I would regret having to pay for a subscription to get full access to it, but it has been worth every penny. I hope this post will help someone else who is considering using Speechify.

- Cool idea! I almost didn't try it because of the price – I'm retired on a small budget, you know? But the AI assistant got me to give it a shot. P.S.: I"m only on my first 20 hours of using it and they already asked for a review.

- It is nice. But the audio generated through the image produces some errors.

- Love This App. I would love to see better Libby integration. I hate having to route my Library books through my kindle app so that my Speechify app can read them. With that being said, I have enjoyed this app using premium for over 4 months. It is by far so amazing. It has a few bugs here and there. For example my selected voice may change mid read for no reason. So in the end as it stands, I would recommend this to anyone especially those with ADHD. It has much improved my life.

- Even with the free version, I find it useful!

- Speechify is a program that actually works and does what I need it to do. I have issues with concentration and reading and this program has been a life saver for things like study, work, and hobbys that require lots of written information. It also saves me time if I want to take notes while reading because I can just listen for the things I need rather than waste additional time struggling with the written words. Just keep it away from your chemistry formulas (or don't, they can honestly be hilarious!).
- Jovanna Wilkins
- It is worth having. It saves time, and I love the quiz feature. However, I have a textbook that is not PDF compatible. I do not like that I have to take individual screenshots in order to hear the speech-to-text. My suggestion is to allow us to upload multiple screenshots at once for continuous reading.

- It's a little pricey but also kinda of worth it once you start to see how much more quickly you can absorb information.
- Patrick Go
- Very handy Thanks

- The best.

- Speechify is fantastic. It has allowed me to consume more articles at a much higher rate than reading them off a screen. Well done!
- Isheanesu Vunganai
- I love it! Could be better if it was able to switch voices more. Like if a male is talking, i get a male's voice, and a female, a female's voice. But i love it so far. Great work!

- its good but can be best is add some free voice

- TOTAL GAME CHANGER FOR MY ADHD I’ve struggled for years with staying focused while reading—my mind wanders, I reread the same paragraph over and over, and long articles or documents feel overwhelming. Speechify changed all of that. The natural-sounding voices and smooth text-to-speech make it feel like I have a personal assistant reading to me. I can finally get through emails, reports, books, and web articles without losing focus. Being able to adjust the speed, highlight words as they’re read, and listen on the go has dramatically improved my productivity and reduced my frustration. It’s especially helpful for ADHD because it keeps my brain engaged with audio while still letting me follow along visually. I actually look forward to “reading” now instead of dreading it. If you have ADHD or any trouble staying focused while reading, do yourself a favor and try Speechify. It’s honestly one of the best tools I’ve found for managing my symptoms and getting more done. Highly, highly recommend! 🙌

- I've been using Speechify for about two years now, and it has made nursing studies so much easier. I am not sure if there has been an update lately, but pronunciation on medical terms is amazing! Being able to choose a voice and speed is extremely important for me because I tend to follow a non-hypitched voice. I am more of a lower-tone, slower-speed voice-type learner, yet I still prefer a natural voice; it just registers and processes better for my brain.

- very helpful
- Finnegan Grimes (finn)
- great needs better detection hate having to click back and forth. maybe some controls to help with that.
- Zeke
- I've been a paying customer for a while now. Overall, it's good. It could be great if it detected all the text on websites. There are just too many instances where it does not detect and I have to constantly grab screenshots (Alt+R) in order for it to search for words to read. That becomes a waste of time and defeats the purpose of using this tool.
- Benny Molina
- Right now just trying it because i can't get Google native Doc reader to work. free version sounds like a computer and is hard to re-direct to areas you want to read.
- Marco Cabrera
- Great first impression
- Lucy Feininger-Hughes
- Im dyslexic, and I would have failed out of university without speechify. I was overwhelmed by my work load, as it takes me hours to read short articles. My mom helped me pay for the subscription and it was the best investment, I have reined the subscription every year, for the passed four years. I went from almost failing out, to a high achieving student!! I am able to do my readings while going to school, or making breakfast. I can use it to proof read my essays- often I cant tell when I make a spelling mistake- but I can hear where something doesn't sound correct. Genuinely could not recommend enough.

- Even though the ancients knew about all of this the conversion of machines to the human it's called animism you need to take it out to understand what's happening right now this human voice is absolutely deliriously comforting for me as someone trying to engage in some sort of writing it's beautiful to hear this female voice sounding so professional and concise even without punctuation she seems to know how to read the spirit of my words I will buy this
- Mataeya Mcfadden
- I love this app, even the free version. I use it to proofread my essays to ensure the grammar is correct and that they make sense. Would definitely recommend. However, the extension sometimes doesn't work, and I have to uninstall and reinstall it. With the new update, I hope this issue is resolved!
- Buck Norris
- Great, great app. At $139 a year, it is a real steal if you use it. Let me count the blessings: 1. PDF imports 2. 100 plus real sounding voices! 3. Unlimited listening. 4. Great organizational interface! 5. Great summaries! 6. Works in Kindle Cloud which is a killer feature in and of itself! 7. Syncs with you phone, tablet and web based browser. 8. Listen fast or slow and read along on the page auto scrolled, why more do you need! 9. On the go, setting at home, online or offline, if you wish? Fantastic. Going where no man has gone before? Yep. LOL Love it.
- Vladislav
- Great extension! I wish there was a lifetime premium option available. It's also a bit pricey. Quality human-like voices though. I recommend it for college students or if you're tired of robotic voices already.
