Thyself helps me keep track of how I'm feeling--it's a space just for me to reflect :) One of my favorite things about the app is that it is my "New Tab" page. I love to be prompted to easily record my feelings as I'm in the middle of working on a project, as I would probably never open a journal to record my emotions at that moment (even though that is often when I am feeling frustrated or hopeless!) In all, I love Thyself and cannot wait to see what is in store for the future.
  • (2023-02-03) Viridiana González: I loved it! It helped me to understand my moods better and to reflect by being able to look at past moods and the notes I made. Also loved the custom functions for the moods and the frequency with which they appear. The user interface it's great and easy to use
  • (2023-01-27) Susanna Basso: Simply amazing! This little extension has been a game-changer for me, gently reminding me to be calmer and more mindful while at work. Instead of relying on me picking up a physical journal or an app on my phone, Thyself works directly where I spend most of the work day — in my browser. It's beautifully designed and comes with many thoughtful features. I particularly love being prompted to do a breathing exercise every few hours, it helps a lot with anxiety. Highly recommended!
  • (2023-01-20) Chick-fl-a eat more chicken: It helps me be calm and happy and understand myself
  • (2022-12-06) Irene Newman: I love this extension! The biggest thing is that for some reason, after a couple of days working on my computer, the extension will stop showing up to give me the reminders to breathe! I'm not sure why this is the case, and when I click on the extension icon to take me to the home screen, it doesn't allow me to do so. Very sad because I love the extension's idea but I am having some bugs with it for some reason.
  • (2022-07-18) Claire: I used this extension for a while and loved it! I don't go on my laptop or chrome every day, but for daily users or people that work in an office it would be amazing. I had a small issue with my app, and upon reaching out to the customer service email the developer directly emailed me back and fixed the issue with no hassle. I really enjoyed the range of emotions/emojis that they allow you to use.
  • (2022-04-14) Pixel Mess: I LOVED THIS (there was a technical difficulty, but its working again [thanks so much for telling me that it was fixed by the way]) I love how customizable it is, and while I often see people complaining about the fact that it pops up literally everywhere, that feature just makes me like it more! I had fun adding my own labels to the emojis, and enabling and disabling them, some of my favorites are: "WHY INTERNET WHY!?!??!?!" "chaotic gremlin time" "hyper fixated" and "lesbian" (instead of the thoughtful, because that is actually sign language for lesbian 🤔) And the fact that it pops up everywhere really helps with my forgetfulness. this has been a huge help!trulyy great job on this!
  • (2022-02-26) Rafaela Zavate: It's amazing! Worth it!
  • (2022-01-11) Ada Batool: I love the concept, but one thing to add is that: Instead of opening automatically every time a new tab is open, why not give notifications instead? click on it, then Thyself will open up! Other than that it's a very useful extension; tracks your moods, gives you journal prompts, self-care ideas and you can edit what each emoji means to you! It's very simple and clear :)
  • (2021-12-29) William Oliveira dos Santos: Gabriel Lino tem razão...
  • (2021-12-15) Olivia Luu (A dumb person): I love it but one problem I had was that in the journal and it gave me a prom but there was no option to type. But still 10/10!!
  • (2021-12-07) Nefeli Fonia: I like this as an idea, and I would love to be able to use it, but it's so frustrating when I'm working and I need a new tab opened the extension opens instead. The only way to stop that unfortunately is to disable the extension altogether. I hope you can fix it because otherwise, it is a great extension and very helpful. It's a shame that I can't use it.
  • (2021-12-02) Claire Zhang: It is amazing, I really appreciate how it reminds one to remember to take care of ones self. For example "be with nature, exercise, meditate." This extension is amazing and extremely helpful.
  • (2021-11-30) Bottle: man this extension sucks. everyone hates me and i was finally getting something that basically simulates a friend who cares about you, so i was exited for this extension! i told thyself how i was feeling, breathed a couple times... then the page froze and i had no option but to click the "allow thyself to change your browser" option, and the result was extremely disapointing, my new page is horrible now. i tried changing the settings a bunch of times, nothing worked. such a shame ill have to disable it. i got thyself 15 minutes ago and it already gave me depression, ive started to emotionally depend on the extension and will be crying myself to sleep tonight. also the journaling option doesnt work, it just gives me a journaling prompt but no option for text, i sat there like an idiot for 10 minutes clicking everywhere and nothing ever happened. if you ever do fix these problems please tell me immediately (also can you make an option where you can check up on me every 2 minutes? thanks!)
  • (2021-11-29) Gabriel Lino: It would be great if it didn't force itself to be my home page. I absolutely hate this behavior, makes it totally unusable. Uninstalled. Otherwise, the extension looks good, is fun and seems useful as a tracker. I wish it wasn't subscription-based - would pay for a premium version if I could buy it - and having a mobile app would be great too. In short, this is a great idea, but the developers have made some terrible choices that made it a bad product in the end. Definitely not worth the hassle of paying for another subscription - specially because my country's currency is pretty bad right now - or living without my home page.
  • (2021-11-28) Adam O'Mara: The app as a concept seemed very promising and I got excited, but then tried to open a new tab. This extension prevents me from accessing a regular chrome tab and every single tab is just the extension. I tried for about 20 minutes to change this in settings and it just isn't working. I have no choice but to uninstall this otherwise promising extension.
  • (2021-11-27) Shradha Ajai: It a good extension to track your mental health. But when I open a new tab it shows the Thyself homepage so I went to settings and disabled "Would you like to see your personal homepage when you open a new browser tab?" and updated it but even though I did that, it still is coming on my new tab. Please tell me if I can do anything to solve this. Otherwise, it's an amazing app.
  • (2021-11-27) Kiwi: Hello, whilst the app itself looks very promising and certainly has a nice aesthetic, it appears to have a few issues. The main on being that it opens every single time you try to open the tab. 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗫!!! Paste this url in the search bar: chrome://settings/?search=tab Then scroll to the bottom of the page where it will state that Thyself is currently using the tabs. Disable it. Everything should be back to normal after that. The second issue is the amount of access it has to browser history etc, and while it is unlikely that it will abuse this information, be careful. It would be a horrible thought to have a mental health extension take advantage of those who are vulnerable. That's all.
  • (2021-11-25) Robert Stones: Would have used this, but don't like that i cannot turn off the option for it to be my default opening page. I need something else as my default opening screen not this. Change this option and i can add it back onto my system, but until, i cannot use it.
  • (2021-11-11) Ana Del Rosario Mendizabal: I pretty like this extension but when I try to open a new tab it appeares Thyself. I also configurated im not stupid but that didnt worked either. I dont know if I am doing soimething worng but the reason I wont use this is because f that problem. Out of that is amazing.
  • (2021-10-31) river: It's real nice but I couldn't keep it cause it changes my new tab page. It wont stop doing it when I go into settings and turn it off either
  • (2021-10-26) Aisyah Farah YF: Youtube recommend it to me but it only last for what 5 minutes? and i immediately uninstall it again because it always appear whenever i open a new tab. I know it can be change in the settings -im not dumb- but it does nothing and trust me i've tried all the options in settings. Honestly thought this extension is great the only problem was just the new tab thing which is really annoying, it drives me nuts.
  • (2021-10-04) chanele haylee cidro: this extension is really helpful. like this a friend who cares about you, checks about you. something like that. 5/5
  • (2021-09-02) Ruby Mackie: its super cute. i was just wondering how i can stop it from opening in every new tab. I know you can do it in settings, i just don't know how
  • (2021-08-25) Arden Grey: This is so cool!! I just downloaded it and already think its awesome! Check it out, even if you end up removing it later.
  • (2021-06-18) Stefania Marcon: i like this app alot exept when i try to open a new tab this extension always pops up
  • (2021-05-17) Raint: Pretty useful for people who want to track their mood or just feel a bit more calm, since all of us are going through really hard times. Not exactly the type of extension I'd use, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people will like this. Recommended.
  • (2021-04-20) That's me!!!: I give it 5 stars. It's because I don't know how to make more emoji! It just let me do it once on the first day. And at the second day I couldn't do any more. Any thing else is fine.
  • (2021-03-28) Sara Maria: Really nice and helpful
  • (2021-03-25) nxia jxhnxon: I really love this extension. The only problem is that I can never open a new tab without getting interuppted.
  • (2021-03-15) Juicy JuJu: I've been looking for a self-care app for ages and was so excited when I found this one. The only problem is that it opens every time that you open a new tab. I also had another extension which had taken me ages to organize and then I couldn't even access it. I would love this if you got the option to choose if you opened it or it did it automatically.
  • (2021-03-06) Kerdidra Noel: This is a really great extension and i recommend but my only problem is when opening a new tab,it replaces the tab and i really hate that which lead to me disabling this extension. If you dont mind it replacing your tabs then please add to you chrome cause its very helpful:)
  • (2021-02-02) ur mom: If you are really looking for something for your mental health, you should get this. It has multiple tasks you can do to calm you. One of my personal favourites is the 'take a breather' option as it gives you time to focus on your breathing and mental health. You can also keep your day organised because it has a small block where you write what you are going to do for the day. I love the emoji circle at the start where you drag the emoji that represents what you are feeling and put it in the middle of the circle and write a little note. Sorry that this review is so long, it's just that I really love this extension, and I just want everybody to know how good it is so other people can try it. Thank you for reading.
  • (2020-12-06) Stella Nye: I love this so much! My only problem is that it opens every time I open a new tab.
  • (2020-11-30) pema: It is an awesome extension, but I just HATE when I can't access my google apps with the "waffle square" thing. BUT if you have no problem with not having the "waffle square" thing, give it a go!
  • (2020-11-24) R E I / A L I A: its the cutest and so easy to use, takes no time to setup. definetly recommend it!
  • (2020-11-12) P N: This online diary is a good idea (I wish the "diary" side more developped to not being just a mood tracker), but it's not very useful in its free version, as it shows only the last 30 days mood. So this extension worths only if you pay 3$ a month. Some icons aren't displayed properly on my machine, so that's a pity we cannot change them, only their description.
  • (2020-09-25) Thunder Claw: this is fun, and helps me feel content with myself, I like it! get this now if you feel like this is something you might need.
  • (2020-07-20) Audrey Foreman: i rate it 2 stars cuse when i tried to sign up the password would not work and i tried different passwords
  • (2020-06-26) S. Anzary: Very user-friendly and friendly in all ways, tbh. Would recommend to everyone I know :)

  • (2022-11-07, v:1.3.3) Divya P: Constant pop-ups
I've been using this extension for a while and since last week, the prompt keeps appearing (even though I selected an emotion). I tried removing the extension, but every time I open Chrome, the prompt appears. I tried disabling the extension and that doesn't help either.
  • (2022-05-05, v:1.3.3) Julian Banks: Accidentally didn't allow permissions, now app is unusable
Hi! I was really excited to use this app, but unfortunately I misclicked immediately after installing it, when I was redirected. I had one of those permissions pop ups come and my computer lagged just a little bit because of something else I was doing in the background and I hit "deny" before I could even see what I was being asked permission about. Now I know a couple of ways to enable permissions for specific sites but it seems trickier for extensions, and I haven't had much luck with google. I don't even know really where to look to begin, especially not even knowing what permission I denied in the first place or what Website it'd be under since there seems to be nothing for thyself (assuming I could even reenable it from there, anyway) A friend suggested maybe clearing cookies but before I log myself out of a million sites I just thought I'd ask here if there's anything I could do about this that'd be a bit more convenient. If that's the only solution, I'd be delighted to do it since this app seems great, but I also didn't want to go through with it and still have issues in case that doesn't work, since my friend wasn't sure that'd fix the issue.
  • (2022-03-05, v:1.3.3) Claire: Charged for Premium Use - without access to Premium features

  • (2021-10-13, v:1.3.2) As ado: I want it to stop showing up on every new tab I open.
I only want it to show up when I click on it, not every single time I open Chrome or a new tab. How do I get it to stop doing that? And what does the option "Would you like to see your personal homepage when you open a new browser tab?" mean? I select the 2nd option hoping to resolve my issue but nothing happens. It still opens up on Thyself. Frankly, it ruins my workflow in a way as I rely on where Chrome normally starts up when I open a new tab.

So... The title kind of says it all actually. I was wondering if you had anything on Google Play. Unfortunately I do not use the laptop to websurf so much as binge watch things. An App would be a bit more helpful, although regardless I am glad that you've created this Add-On. Be well, and thank you for your efforts.
