This is the only shortcut manager that can redefine and disable ALL factory keyboard and mouse shortcuts in Chrome. This is the only shortcut manager that works on ALL browser tabs. None of this is possible with regular Chrome extensions. AutoControl IS NOT A REGULAR EXTENSION. AutoControl currently works on Windows operating systems only. If you are still interested, read on to learn why AutoControl is different. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ AutoControl is a native extension ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ AutoControl brings out the power of Chrome's native extensibility to gain essential advantages over regular extensions: ✔ It can customize or disable ALL browser shortcuts, even those prohibited to regular extensions, such as Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+ScrollWheel, and any other. ✔ Keyboard shortcuts and gestures work on ALL tabs, be it the New Tab Page, extension pages, settings pages, protected pages, PDF documents, you name it. ✔ It doesn't inject code into every page you visit, thus leaving their functionality intact, which avoids sluggish pages and conserves CPU and memory. ✔ Keyboard shortcuts and mouse gestures are implemented natively, which makes them respond instantly at all times. • (2025-06-25) Kerem S: after installation of extension, it says "I can not work without Native-Component.exe software" .. There are many extensions and they can work witout softwares. Why I have to install it? This extension is not working without this software. DO NOT INSTALL !!
  • (2025-04-27) Ladia Zhang: 希望支持下Manifest V3 现在用canary版本 会直接提示停用
  • (2025-03-17) Kazim Hussain: I love this extension. Google should let us use this extension and not lock us out from this gem
  • (2025-03-11) Mark D: great extension.. but it stopped working after the most recent chrome update.. will there be a fix coming out anytime soon?
  • (2025-03-07) Anshul Jain: This is an absolute beast of an extension and the fact that Chrome is forcefully obsoleting is shameful. Dunno how to protest against Google/Chrome besides switching to another browser really.
  • (2025-03-05) Matteo Codecasa: Super!
  • (2025-03-03) Slava Lishnevsky: Fantastic extension! Google is trying to disable it and many other extensions, because of their own stupid practices they made up for themselves. Just turn it back ON, don't rate zero, don't be ignorant fools! I have been yousing this extension for years, can't live withou it. The local exe process is needed so that the extension could run your! scripts and your programs, like OPEN FILE/PROGRAM function, and so that it could work on tabs, standard extension can't. Don't rate zero because you are noobs and don't have no idea what it takes to build such an amazing extension. I feel sorry the developer of this extension has to read all this bs.
  • (2024-12-26) Andrew Vodoyem: Scam. This extension to suggests you to download sketchy executable otherwise it won't function. Nothing about this is mentioned in the extension description at chrome webstore. If I wanted shortcuts/gestures on an operation system level I wouldn't be downloading a browser extension.
  • (2024-12-20) DARK: it stopped working
  • (2024-12-20) A. Rangga: It stopped working today
  • (2024-12-15) D L: Easy to set up, broad functionality, worked first try, very nice :)
  • (2024-12-13) Booker Wilkins: I really hope they don't remove this from chrome. It's extremely useful. Saves a lot of time and is very intuitive. Great for anyone who uses chrome, I wish it was built in.
  • (2024-12-07) Antonín Drdácký: Finaly ctrl+p doesn't print the page but opens new tab! Chrome is taking like 10+ years to implement this basic feature...

  • (2024-10-21) Ze Ro: Wow fantastic i had been using Per Tab Zoom which looks like may be about to be removed from web store the install page suggested to use this one as it was part of it, glad I found it, especially for Edge browser the zoom changes all the tabs, i hope it'll keep it at the size i need them to be but there is a great array of features I have yet to explore. Thanks to the developer.
  • (2024-09-30) David Kent: Well, it's amazing - especially compared to anything else. My Windows 11 won't allow Shift+Esc to bring up the Chrome Task Manager and I really need that for development. This extension will allow you to specify a key sequence and map it to Chrome menu shortcuts, so it produces the same result. How brilliant is that?
  • (2024-09-24) Kris Prieb: This extension really helps one unlock the full potential of the browser!
  • (2024-09-06) Peter Kim: best thing to ever happen to my browsing experience.

  • (2024-07-19) Sanjeev Kumar Bobby Cycles (Bobby Zopfan): EDIT1: HOW CAN ANYONE MAKE SUCH A WONDERFUL, EASY, SO LITE, SO USEFUL, AND YET FREE PRODUCT!!! I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. Orig Review: This made me use Chrome. Otherwise I was a diehard Firefox fan. This extension is all-in-one for Chrome customization. So much so that you don't need any extension at all. So much fast and light. Can't believe.
  • (2024-07-16) S T: Doesnt let me install native component on Mac. Only exe.file
  • (2024-07-12) Arabinda Ghosh: Does not work when multiple instance of Chrome opened with different "--user-data-dir". I have installed the extension on both the instance but it works only on the latest instance of Chrome. Otherwise, it's really useful. Please fix the bug. Thanks
  • (2024-06-12) Jiacheng Khoo: Can't find a way to get it to work better with multi monitor such that the action follows which screen/window it is initiated from.
  • (2024-06-10) Luc Bloom: Control + Shift + m was suddenly taken by Chrome to open the profile popup. I was able to re-define the shortcut, assign "no action" and then disable it. That allowed me to use it again on the Jira website! Thanks!
  • (2024-06-05) Ali Korloo: only one thing missing: scroll **to bottom of the page**! is it me or it's really missing?
  • (2024-06-05) Dimitri G: Right mouse button extensions seem to be a curse... CRX stopped working and was riddled with bugs, Smartup got flagged as being malware so... Autocontrol was installed and was quickly configured with some basic actions... Once you get the 'logic', the configuration was easy and it seems to be powerful. But for now, I've been using it for just 3 small days and also tested it out on about 5 devices. To my surprise, it seems to be working splendidly and never skips a beat. And it even works in 'special' tabs (like configuration pages). So hoping that this breaks the curse and for that, I've just happily sent a donation :-) Goodluck with the future!

  • (2024-06-04) Michael R.: First impression, it does what I need it to and more, offers a lot of possibilities, and it's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. Above all, the developer seems reliable, which has been a problem with similar extensions. Thank you for this great extension!
  • (2024-05-29) lee min: perfect alternative for the crx gesture
  • (2024-05-22) Mark: Initial experience is great. I really missed that old functionality that was removed for some reason of middle-clicking on the title bar to 'reopen closed tab'. Usage was fairly simple: trigger on middle mouse click, only trigger when on title bar, don't trigger when on a tab, and bam, it works perfectly. Can't wait to think of more ways to use this great tool.
  • (2024-05-22) Jerome Nicholas: Very detailed and useful extension. Good developers. Some users might need some time to understand and set up complex scenarios, but it's crazy that this allows us to do almost anything you need to do.
  • (2024-05-20) Baqar Ali: Works Great.
  • (2024-05-17) Mariano: No se encuentra para el Firefox?
  • (2024-04-14) Vice: Doesn't work. It recognises the mouse gestures not doesn't do the actions.
  • (2024-04-11) Freddie: this made me so happy that i made a review, works for exactly what i was looking for how convenient is that./
  • (2024-03-21) Prit Chakalasiya: Smooth and Clean UI, No ads, Works as advertised, Perfect!
