For some reason, when i use the extension the tab says "This tab's content is being shared"... suspicious.

This is a wonderful extension that can speed not only embedded videos but also embedded simple audio players on any website. All the other speed controllers I have found in the extension work only with videos but not with simple audio players. I thank God for the developer who wrote this! Because I primarily want to change the audio playback speeds on certain sites. Simple, elegant, and very user friendly!

Wow. I am blown away by how amazing this extension is. You can speed up or slow down videos, change the volume of videos, the pitch, the colours/brightness/contrast/etc, along with a few other things. It is incredible and I am glad I chose this specific extension. Plus, there are no ads and your data is not shared with a bunch of third parties, etc. If you notice the video not going full screen: click the full screen button on your video and then press F11 (F11 is a key bind for full screen in chrome). Great job to the developer/developers. Keep up the great work :)

This extension is a godsend. It works across every website. You name the service, this one extension will control its speed. The only minor irritation I have with it is that after you adjust the speed, it doesn't minimize itself. That said, you can bypass this by creating your own hotkeys.

Hands down the best extension I've added. So damn useful with the customization of time skips and saved marks etc. 100% would recommend, so happy with it! :D

I really really love this extension!! 💘 I don't know if it would be possible to add the option to draw on PDF? I often draw equations or drawings over YouTube videos, and I've gotten too used to the UX. It pains me not to be able to do the same with lecture notes or annotations. Thank you for your time😊

Super easy to use once you set the hotkeys, can't watch videos without it now. One thing though, could you add a customizable speed "limit"? Like if I set a limit of x2, you need to press the keys again to increase it further x2. It’d be very handy for when you mostly keep the speed under x2.

Got this just for the audio equalizer settings. Very powerful controls even with just a 10 band equalizer. great for music with B & W PX 7 headphones. To get to the audio settings click on the Global Speed extension, then select the audio speaker icon (yes you would think its a toggle mute button but its not). Scroll down the list to the bottom and the default 10 bands are shown. set the equalizer the way you want then adjust the POW (gain boost). sliding to the right to increase. The only downside is that videos dont go full screen with this extension (full screen video but the top and bottom browser bars are still shown. A work around is to press F11 key to force full screen. Overall one of the best audio equalizer addons for chrome.

Alas, since the media list and thus PiP view is no longer accessible for the browser I use, I cannot give it full score anymore, but the speeding/slowing feature is still very useful.

Hi, just tweaking around, any way to run shortcuts from another tab (e.g. google), to the currently playing video, without affecting other video tabs?

one problem with the reverse audio filter: it ONLY reverses the audio NOT the video I'm watching make it a slider not a button that MURDERS my finger when i wanna reverse audio

Use this every day in Brave browser, but now it's stopped working on Youtube.

I was using a video speed controller extension for the last few years, but suddenly, Amazon Prime Video started showing a blank screen (no video, only audio) when that extension was enabled. Searched and tried a few other extensions, but this is the best, exactly what I needed with customizable shortcut keys. Huge thanks to developers for this.

Awesome, I’m starting to get used to the options, but there’s still one thing I can’t figure out: Could you add a shortcut toggle to loop all videos, possibly with a permanent indicator showing if looping is on or off? Or sorry — is there already a way to do this?

Would it be possible on youtube to set normal speed for music videos and increased speed (1.5x) for all other videos? Any way to only recognize music videos and disable a set speed?

Very good, although the speed setting does not work on looptube.io (My preferred video site). The site does use YouTube videos to work so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Might update this review once I've used it some more. Video filters, although I don't plan on using them much, don't work on the site, even when inputting the "video, img" text in the query.

Best of the best! I also dream to integrate it with Vimium to have leader_key-driven shortcuts. And also I dream about implementing something like "whichkey" vim's plugin for both of them (vimium + Global Speed).

Can you please add number keys to skip around the video, just like on youtube?

one of best extension i have searching for a year. and today i have found. thanks a lot. the best feature is shortcut keys and toggle options and the best of best can create new customization. and the export import feature. just copy paste to my 4 different browsers from one works perfectly well.
