Pretty UI, decent variety of sounds and I like that I can mute the noise as well and still get the ping when time is up if I need it silent. My only complaints are that there's no way to control the volume, and it'd feel more streamlined if there were a hotkey to open the pop-up rather than having to click on the icon each time.

• (2022-01-06) Hari Prasath: Almost good. Pros: Simple, clean interface. Just enough options (ocean, rain, forest, etc.) to not get bored by the same kind of white noise every time. Cons: Why does a white noise player need permissions to read and change data of all the sites I visit? (kinda sus. maybe just bad code) When denied permission to read and change data, the extension needs reloading whenever I try opening up the extension on a tab other than the one I started a session from. This is very annoying. The extension for some reason also reads browsing history. Another issue is with how the audio tracks are looped -- there is jarring pause every few minutes when a track ends and restarts. Smooth looping is something that should be a standard in white noise applications. Without that, how is this better than playing a track on VLC or any simple media player?0

  Whitelist does not work for everyone. If your tasks frequently requires you to follow links to different websites but you have a handful of websites that you know that you want blocked during the focus period, you need a blacklist. However, this extension only gives the option to use a whitelist, blocking far too many websites and forcing you to stop the focus timer constantly.

  I don't know if this is already a feature for the chrome extension, but here is my suggestion. Add the option to change the sound after each session, would be nice if it can be modified by each user; but realistically speaking, would be perfect if we have a choice to change default one to other presets. I missed some sessions and forgot to rest/work for hours, this feature might help a ton of users. Note: for preset sounds; alarm sound might be a good idea, "beeps", or other longer sounds than the default *ting*. Either way, this is one of the best pomodoro app out there honestly don't know why its underrated.

  I love this extension, really helps me concentrate and study for my tests and essays. The only little thing i want the developers to add is an option to choose which websites to block. Because currently when the immersive option is on, it only gives us the option to set our whitelisted pages, it's more simple to add blacklisted pages, because we know which pages we will get distracted on, and which pages we need to research things on.   Hi, I have been using this tide extension for a few weeks now and I am in absolute adore of it. Just one thing my extension has done is stopped recording how many tide focus sessions I've had. Basically just stopped take any data. Would you please be able to assist as knowing how much I focused in a day really helped me as a student.

  Hi, I noticed this week that the Typing and Library sound options are no longer available. These are the only options I like to use and they are the best to help me focus. The other sounds are too distracting for me.   Hello, Love the application and has been helping me greatly in school! I noticed for some reason the play/pause of my keyboard is interacting with this application.   Dear developer, First of all thanks for this extension. It really helps me focus. The trouble is I use a Chromebook so a lot of apps I need to use are online apps. When I activate 'immersive mode' it blocks me from using all websites. Even if its google docs or an invoicing website. I have noticed the 'whitelist' option but I dont know what this is for. Perhaps you could enlighten me? I have tried adding websites to the whitelist assuming they would be unblocked for me to use while in focus and immersive mode. However, it doesn't seem to make a difference to the fact that all websites are blocked. I would greatly appreciate your help as I find Chrome OS, for all its strengths, to be distracting as the internet is so accessible! But I still need some of it! Thank in advance.
