An open source eyedropper extension for Chrome. Pick, save and organize color swatches. Export them for Adobe programs.
📝 FEATURES
- Pick colors by clicking on the page with the eyedropper
- Create groups and organize your swatches
- Switch between `hex`, `rgb` and `hsl` color modes
- Export your collection in a `.ase` file and import it in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
⌨️ HOTKEYS
- `ALT + B` is the default key bidding to open Black shrimp
You can change it by browsing to `chrome://extensions/shortcuts`
While open:
- `ALT + SHIFT + A` — Add a color
- `ALT + SHIFT + F` — create Folder
- `ALT + SHIFT + D` — Delete selection
- `ALT + SHIFT + E` — Export swatches

Black shrimp exports your color swatches in Adobe Swatch Exchange files (.ase) that you can import in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

pleeeeeeease update, i cant use any more, i try to install from github in developer mode, but not worked This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.
I used to use this extension all the time, sadly it doesnt work anymore as it doesnt show anything when i click the icon :(

I am using this on a MacBook Pro on Chrome and I love it. I was using Colorzilla, but I had a hard time recovering previously sampled colors, and the picker was super laggy. This works much faster and creating swatch groups is easy. I recommend!

Wasn't able to click on the icon once I had added it :( .I have a Macbook Pro but, the Chrome Store said it was compatible with my computer.

it wont let me on, it looks and sounds vary usefull and it may just be my chrombook, but i just don't think it is up to standerd

Excellent Plugin! Very nice! (I am a graphic / web designer) It would be even better if you could name group, maybe even the colors, but at least the group. ;)

L'extension est efficace et facile d'utilisation. On peut rapidement créer une palette de couleur avec une facilité déconcertante! LE + : c'est que les fichiers crées sont exportables pour la plupart des logiciels de création. Dès l'ouverture de l'extension, le design sombre et minimal permet de comprendre rapidement son fonctionnement. Aussi, certains détails comme l'indication des raccourcis clavier démontrent bien la qualité de cette extension. Sans surprise, je recommande !
