Have you been aware that you can take the full control over the YouTube player with only the keyboard? If not, you may find the following collection of shortcuts useful. If you are familiar with some YouTube keyboard shortcuts, chances are you’ll discover new ones. Let’s see!
Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts that will improve your user experience on YouTube™.
Use parameters to specify the key combination you would like to use.
- Focus the Player
- Go to Subsriptions
- Go to User Page
- Like the Video
- Dislike the Video
- Subscribe
- Add to Playlist
- Toggle Video Description
- Scroll to next list item
- Scroll to previous list item
- Go to previous tab in strip
- Go to next tab in strip
- Hide all the watched videos
- Hide selected video from the feed
Existen youtube shortcast (dont shadow this)
K - Pause the video.
J - Rewind 10 secs.
L - Skip forward 10 secs.
/ - Focus on search box.
Aditional YouTube player shortcast (once you have focus)
Space - Pause the video.
Left - Rewind 5 sec.
Right - Skip forward 5 sec.
1-9 - Seek to the 10% to 90% of the video
0 - Rewind to beggining of video
Up - Increase volume.
Down - Decrease volume.
F - Fullcreen.
Esc - Exit full screen.
