The Email Tracking Preventer blocks email tracking attempts used to detect when you open/read emails. The extension prevents tracking images from loading, keeping secret the fact that you opened an email. A ton of sales and marketing email tracking provider are prevented from spying on you, along with marketing tracking from a variety of services and social networks.
The Email Tracking Preventer will not interfere with any Gmail tracking extensions that you yourself use to send out tracked emails.
