A ferramenta W2MO da Logivations GmbH de modelação, simulação, otimização de sistemas de logística (como por exemplo armazéns, linhas de montagens, produção e plantas de fábricas) com parâmetros para a web basea-se na tecnologia HTML 5, -WebGL, in-memory-computing e algorítimos paralelos. A integração com o software da SAP está disponível.

Internet é fácil: W2MO é uma ferramenta de modelação e simulação 3D que pode ser usada na web com as novas tecnologias HTML5, WebGL e Canvas. Sua função é modelar e otimizar modelos de plantas de logísticas e seus processos. Qualquer pessoa pode utilizá-la através de um browser e criar facilmente modelos de um sistema de logistica. Tais podem ser mostrados à colaboradores, trabalhadores assim como discutidos com clientes, fornecedores e parceiros.
Com a nossa feramenta um grande número de usuários (como por exemplo multinacionais do setor de logistíca) conseguem criar planos de negócios, aumentar a eficiência e as margens de lucro. W2MO auxilía não somente na troca de informações, mas também na otimização dos sistemas de logísticas. Diferentes plantas de logística e estratégias alternativas podem ser criadas, alteradas ou melhoradas com agilidade. Fabricantes de sistemas de automação e transportes podem integrar suas soluções aos processos logísticos de seus clientes eficientemente. Plano pessoal é parte integrada da ferramenta e está direcionada para os setores de logística e produção. A calculação de ofertas pode ser efetuada de forma precisa e baseia-se não somente no standards MTM, mas também leva em consideração pedidos, ordens e outras atividades reais. Total compatibilidade com todos os aparelhos móveis como celulares e tablet-PC é possível.
A simulação e animação 3D são possíveis por causa da tecnologia WebGL. A princípio, W2MO é a única ferramenta no mercado que oferece uma visualização moderna em todos os browsers. Usuários podem criar seus objetos (como por exemplo armazéns virtuais) em 3D dentro da ferramenta ou importá-los facilmente. Vários tipos de visualizações são possíveis.
Modelação revolucionária: Atualemte no mercado há várias ferramentas que enfocam os processos de logística. Tal enfoque é muito complicado, demorado e caro para as empressas do setor. W2MO trabalha tendo como base uma planta e deriva automaticamente os processos da mesma. Um usuário pode criar seu modelo de armazém personalizado rapidamente com qualquer editor de fotos.
O dados referente ao tempo são padronizados. A logística é uma área, onde inúmeras pessoas trabalham juntas. Padrões de tempo (como por exemplo MTM, Refa) são primordiais para a criação de um sistema de calculação dos custos de trabalho.
Otimização inteligente: W2MO possui algorítimos especiais paras as diferentes tarefas a serem realizadas. Para uma utilização meramente operacional tais algorítimos (também conhecidos como “black box”) podem ser integrados aos sistemas LVS e SAP. Para a criação de esboços, parâmetros ou tuning os algorítimos podem ser executados dentro do W2MO. Esta última funcionalidade requer um pequeno ajuste antes de ser utilizada.
Compatibilidade e flexibilidade: W2MO pode ser utilizado para pequenos sistemas de logísticas ou para sistemas de dados mais complexos. Com o intuito de manter a clareza e visibilidade das informações mesmo em sistemas de dados complexos, outras funções como filtros e compressão de dados (informações “zipadas”) foram desenvolvidas.
W2MO pode ser utilizada em qualquer processador apto a rodar um browser, como por exemplo um laptop ou um smartphone. A utilização em celulares modernos cria novas possibilidades levando em consideração layouts (plantas). Com smartphones o usuário pode colocar dados nos sistemas, efetuar alterações no armazém virtual e obter resultados rápidamente dentro do armazém real. Tal flexibilidade e mobilidade representam um aumento da eficiência e redução de custos.

- (2017-01-23) Robert Willson: We used W2MO Supply Chain Optimization to change some structures in our network by looking for the best location to add a new warehouse. The goal was to keep costs as low as possible. The system analyzed the imported data and after a couple more simple operations it automatically showed cost optimized opportunities for the new placement (we could choose the whole territory or a certain region). Also it is possible to ignore an old warehouse or concider it and keep track of changes. The Software gives the user a great possibility to compare different scenarios.
- (2017-01-13) Tony Leach: I can highly recommend this tool. A while ago we had a project with Logivations, which lasted a couple months. We wanted to compare different Logistics service providers (they had different transportation rates and truck capacity). Imo, each of them had their pros and cons, so including an independent expert and using a new tool was the right decision. We had a large amount of data, so calculating optimal costs without a tool was impossible. W2MO gave us a great opportunity to quickly import data, mark location candidates and accounts in one click, analyze different scenarios using different carriers. As a result, the Software shows us for each product flow which carrier would be the best solution. We are completely satisfied, thank you for this amazing tool.
- (2016-10-19) James Foster: For the beginning I’d like to mention the Logivations experts, who are very professional in their job and always do their best to meet customer’s needs. The project I had the pleasure to do with them was about the Video-based Process Studies functionality, which allows to use specific motion speeds directly from Videos instead of default times. This makes calculations more accurate and less time-consuming. We started our work from observing activities in our DC - by taking videos via the W2MO smartphone app, which uploads all the videos into the Warehouse Planning & Optimization system automatically. W2MO calculates the average of all observations of the same process and puts these averaged times and speeds into the database. This gave us a great overview of the workload and time demand of all the measured activities. Our initial goal was to eliminate time-wasting processes and we achieved it successfully thanks to W2MO. Logivations solution is cloud-based and no long installation processes are needed, which is another huge benefit for us.

You get a great cloud tool for a small subscription fee which would cost 90.000 USD or more if you buy a license from other Supply Chain Software Companies. I worked with W2MO, in particular with Logistics Network Optimization, it is very easy to use because of its user-friendly interface and interactive functions of Google Maps. I used this program to design a complete network of our DCs. We imported all the location and warehouse data into the system and immediately started working. Following ‘Guide’ and ‘Help’ it is clear what each and every parameter means. As we were interested in finding a location for a new DC, we let the system find the most optimal location to build it (based on our supply and order data). The proposed location was great from the holistic network perspective, we only had to move it some miles for a suitable location and now we are in the process of building the physical Warehouse at this location to expand and optimize our Supply Chain. What I like most about this system is the fast transfer of needed data and the fact that comparison of imported data sets with calculated ones allows you to see the results in a few clicks. It is also great that Logistics Managers can put their know-how in it and move the suggested locations by drag and drop and then the system automatically re-calculates all flows and costs.
- (2016-09-02) Iryna: I was involved in a W2MO project a while ago, we used the Layout Design Optimizer to plan a new warehouse. First step was the data import by csv files, which was quite fast and easy. After importing product + order data and setting the parameters and restrictions, a suggestion of the warehouse structure with all needed racks was created automatically by the system for all the different warehouse areas in 2D and also with realistic models in 3D. We also assigned all our products to bins in the virtual warehouse. A lot of algorithms are included into the tool, such as optimized slotting in picking/ replenishment areas as well as labor cost calculation. We were satisfied with our achieved results and we are planning to use W2MO in the future as well. I can definitely recommend the tool for warehouse planning.

You can hear the Audiojungle "watermark" throughout the whole video. lets get real if they can't be bothered with that why bother with their product.
