Good extension. I just wish it had an option to maintain the watch history across my browser opposed to one account. (I use multiple accounts)

Thanks for this addon! It's working so it's a good start. I'd love have support for dark mode - that almost-white is killing me. Is there a chance to get date together with "watched" note (like "watched: 11.07.2025")?
I have used, and loved, this for a long time now, but Chrome just disabled it and says it isn't up to date. Any chance of updating it to work again? Please? Their alternate suggestions are a joke, and don't to anything like this.

It used to work, now it stopped working the last 4 days
used to work, now it shows watched for videos I know I didn't watch (uploaded like minutes ago and alrdy marked watched)
Good extinction but it stopped working and by that I mean it made my YouTube lag super bad.

JUNE, 2023 - it works for me on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera. The watched video is grayed out and marked "WATCHED." This is very handy if you're looking for new content or reminded of favorites you've already seen.

Моя претензия в том что расширение помечает как "просмотренное" даже те видео что я просто открыл, посмотрел буквально 2 секунды и закрыл. Было бы логично если бы помечались только те видео, которые были отсмотрены где-то на 80% и более!
does not work on Microsoft Edge browser. Disabled all other extensions, still doesn't work. Works on Opera browser though.

До установки расширения просмотренное видео помечалось просто красной полосой внизу без каких-либо надписей. С расширением теперь видео затеняется и есть надпись "WATCHED", хотя и браузер и интерфейс ютуба у меня на русском. Как я могу для себя отредактировать это расширение чтоб не было вообще никакого текста и осталось только затенение? Или хотя бы что можно сделать чтоб надпись была на русском?
It only works on the homepage and in the search results. Once a video starts playing, it no longer does, meaning that it doesn't mark the related videos that show up next to the comment section...

Just used this add-on and it works quite well ! ...but there is something that I wish it also has. I wish that that watched mark also applies to the video suggestions that is next to a watching video. I was annoyed by that and wished to find add-ons that can solve it. Still a great add-on! Hope that you can see this someday.

It's great! Super obvious now when I've watched a video. I've tried several of these for Youtube watched videos but this extension is my favorite.

Works. Thanks. However, only works on the search results page. When a video is playing, the "watched" status is not overlayed on the video thumbnails on the right side of the screen.

Расширение перестало работать навсегда. На ноутбуке, на ПК. Обновляй не обновляй. Полностью сдохла. Пора искать другое расширение.
Doesn't work on the recommended videos on a video page, which is where I needed it to work as YouTube seems to have suddenly decided not to give any Watched indication there at all. On the Home screen it greys out the video but the "WATCHED" mark is missing. Seems to work on the Subscriptions screen.

Раньше работало, а теперь с новым дизайном ютуба работает через раз, а то и вовсе нет. UPD: Да, это были проблемы у самого ютуба, теперь все нормально работает.
Затемнение идеально, но если бы можно было отключить надпись просмотрено и красные полоски - цены бы ему не было !

Up until this point, I have not been able to find a still-functioning extension for Youtube after their last update over a month ago. & that new bar Youtube used to replace their old watched indicator was a barely-visible joke. Edit: As of July 2020, this no longer works if you have JustBlock Security app. Disabling JustBlock makes it work again. Edit: 2021, some people are having problems with just the PC or mobile or TV version of Youtube not adding anything to watched history. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the app check if you have liked or disliked a video & have it register as being watched based on that?
