A simple chrome tab renamer extension

Lets you rename the title of the any tab. Very handy when you feel your tab title need more descriptive or personalized names.
Also, the title sticks to the tab even if you navigate to a different page within the same tab!
Note: This may not work on websites (Ex: chrome webstore, facebook etc) which do not get affected by this tab title change.

- Does what I want it to. Renames tabs while I have them open. I don't need them saved for future as others do, just needs to be named until I close it, so I can easily tell them apart from other tabs.

- There was no rename option when right clicking a tab, but the input box appears when clicking through the extension icon manually. That said, it seems to not work as of now. Every time I try to rename a tab, it returns an error message saying to please try again. Tried with multiple different tabs—both internet tabs and local file tabs—and restarted chrome, but to no effect. Unfortunate.

- The names only persist so long as chrome is open. As soon as you close the browser and reopen it, the names change back to default which renders the app useless imo.

- One of the best extensions I tried to rename a tab. The name is saved after pressing F5. And when you open several tabs with the same url the new name stays only on the original tab (I need it for development)

- Can't even figure out how this extensions is supposed to work--seems pretty intuitive to be able to right click a tab and select 'rename' but I can't find this option or anything remotely related.

- Simple and works as expected in Brave 1.61 (Chromium 120.0.6099.71), although I did have to restart the browser before it would work.

- Tried to use it and it instantly froze and crashed my entire browser which never happens ETA: Tried again and same thing happened. Writing this one off.

- The tab name persists even if I follow the link and address changes. This is awesome. It would be really cool to have a keyboard shortcut for renaming.

- XからTwitterにタブの名前を変更したく入れてみたけど、最初は良いかなと思ったけど、タブを閉じなければ他のサイトを開いても名前はそのままだけど、タブを閉じるとXに戻ってしまう。

- It worked perfectly up until the recent Chrome update. If the page refreshes it reverts to the original tab name. It's not that bad, but I use it to keep track of tabs for work so sometimes it makes me take a little bit longer to find the tab I need. Otherwise, it's been perfect for me. This doesn't happen all the time either, not sure what makes it revert sometimes.

- This is really helpful for a student with 10 docs opened, all of them saying only part of the document title. For me, since I use Google Classroom, my name would always come first, and since it's so long, all I'd see in the tab name was my name! Imaging going through 10 tabs like that! This extension was a life-saver!

- Soweit sehr gut, speichert man sich seine Tabs mit einem anderen tool, startet den Browser neu, ist der Name leider vergessen. Aber ich denke für die "normale Benutzung" auf jeden Fall top!

- I LOVE this little plugin and use it all the time to quickly keep track of different versions of similar pages (like Dev vs Test vs Prod). Also great for presentations/demos. Perfectly simple.
