TABLERONE tab manager

Their product is a great idea - only if it didn't lose your work for you. One thing you get with this is grouping links together to share with others in a very quick way. It really sucks when you close your tabs, and even though grouped within chrome, when you open it they all crash. It really absolutely sucks. Chrome groups has been my go to but I kept this app active all this time now, but this has happened far too many times where I've lost a load of tabs, just becase, because it can't hold the memory and reload the tabs. It's the whole bloody damn point, and no I don't want to open a new window and have the save & close that one. I just want to have grouped tabs open to remind me that I need to jump back to a tabs in order to complete an action. Will keep it in active until I need a tool to share mass links, and will disable it thereafter.

This app is absolutely brilliant. Like many people, I deal with very diverse topics each day so have multiple tabs open for each of these. Even though my intentions are to record and close, output expectations mean I have to move on before getting that done. by mid to end of each week, taking an age for all of these to open. Have tried different tab savers but this is by far the best. Lovely, clean UI and great options for saving - my favourite being plain text table giving the subject/heading and link in separate columns.

This extension is a game changer. Now my tabs are finally organized by project and my browser doesn't feel cluttered anymore. Thanks Tablerone!

After looking for and testing many "similar" apps, this has been the best one. 100% recommended.

I was looking for a cost-free alternative to Workona, and I'd give TABERONE tab manager a 9 out of 10 in comparison with an 11 for cost ;) I've been putting it to the test for a week or so now, and it's worked very well for my purposes: namely to save sessions of tabs in a given Chrome window to pull back up again when needed. The only feature I'm missing from the extension I'm migrating from is that it does not automatically save all tabs in a named session. They can be saved manually, or a time of day can be set to have all open tab sessions saved and closed, which is a good enough workaround for me. It also seems like favoriting a tab session doesn't always stick, or maybe it just takes too long for my patience. However, all tab sessions are reliably saved to archive, which I've always been able to fall back on consistently. As I'm getting more used to this one performance tick, I'm finding that patience is a virtue and I'm not having to resort to restoring archives anymore.

Worthless. Don't trust with important work. You trust them to save a close your tab and they are all gone...

Do not use this software. The backup does not actually back anything up, and a browser update just deleted 3 years of my saved tabs that are now completely unrecoverable.

I should mention that I don’t use the computer for work, so I use the tab manager more for recreational purposes. It has everything I could ask for to organize and manage multiple searches. Even though luckily it doesn’t cause major productivity issues, on the left sidebar (HOME button) I experience a graphic malfunction that prevents me from reading the names of the labels or tags. It seems to be due to an incompatibility between the VPN installed on my computer and the tab manager. I still recommend it. without forgetting it is free

Not suitable for 1000+ tabs. It just took up a huge amount of RAM and CPU and added unnecessary overhead. Poor optimization.

Fantastic app. Simple, clean, keeps me focused! What I find most useful is saving all tabs every day at 3am - so they are there if I need them, but my session starts from zero every day so I can get to work without yesterday's noise getting in the way. This is the best tab manager that I've used and I've tried a whole lot of them! I've gladly donated to development as well to keep it going.

Everything's good, but it just takes a while to "Save & Close" after a long day of using the browser. I use Supatabs also, it just closes all tabs and saves the session in an instant. I don't know what different are they doing. Also, one suggestion I can give is an option to merge 2 or more sessions together where the duplicate links are later deleted.

Wanted to make a feedback about table.one, but clicking on contact at the bottom of the page on the website redirected me to the "about" page, with no contact whatsoever. Finally found email "[email protected]", which doesn't work either... So I put it here: I'm using latest Maxthon browser version, on Windows 10, on which by default if I open a link in a new tab, it opens in background. Except when I enable this extension! So I can't use this extension right now.

Game changer for me. Researched loads of different tools but this is hands down the best and only one that really works. Dev(s) are reactive to support too and seem to really care about the product. Thank you for your work!

I rarely write a review, but it offers way more than the paid tab managers, and that too completely free! For improvements, I would advise to implement AI grouping of tabs in various respective tags.

I've looked for a LONG time for a tab manager that works in a way I like. I feel like I've tried them all, but there are so many it can't possibly be true... Nevertheless, so far I really like the way Tablerone works. The tagging feature is nice, and I like the way that it doesn't feel like it gets in the way of Chrome's own tab management. I'll write a more detailed review later, after I've used it for a while.

Good, but when is imposible to sync between devices so it will be good to have option for custom named root folder of tablerone sessions bookmark (e.g. Tablerone bookmarks - desktop, Tablerone bookmarks - laptop)

Great idea and it worked for about an hour. Now the Save & Close button stopped working, when I rename a session it forgets the name 10 minutes later, the Open All button doesn't work. This is a piece of junk. I'm going to delete it before I lost my open tabs.

Great product! Easy to use, and quite useful in saving links to sites you need to keep in focus.

great for minimalists

I have been looking for a Chrome extension like this for years! It does exactly what I want it to, saving workspaces with all of the tab information which is SO much better than keeping all of the tabs I use regularly open all of the time. The only thing I wish Tablerone would do is an automatic sync between computers with all of my saved workspaces. I highly recommend Tablerone!

Just lost 380 tabs. turn on extension. turn off extension to see if its really slowing things down. ALL tabs in all windows closed - cannot reopen or recover. no history of those tabs. Lol what a joke.

I'm LOVING Tablerone so much! I'm now a reformed tab-hoarder... now I just hoard them in Tablerone -- in an organized way that I can find what I need, when I need it without Google Chrome hogging all my computer resources when trying to keep up with my hundred + tabs. This was the solution I was looking for. Thanks!

11/10/2024 UPDATES: I spoke too soon, It looks like the latest update fixed the "Open link in new tab" problem, but I noticed Chrome's built-in restore all tabs feature is still broken and every tab loads when chrome is opened. For example if I close my chrome browser with 100 tabs open, and then I re-open chrome, if the Tablerone extension is enabled, every single tab will load and open. If Tablerone is disabled, everything works fine. 11/09/2024 (1.8.61) UPDATE: They fixed the critical bug made by the previous release, all is good again. 11/07/2024 (1.8.60) UPDATE: I believe Tablerone introduced a new bug today. Now when I restore my chrome tabs, like I do every morning, Chrome loads each and every tab. I thought that was odd, then I realized what was happening. If you right click on a link and click "Open link in new tab" with tablerone extension enabled, it will now jump to and load that tab. With tablerone off, it opens the tab, but doesn't load or jump to it until I click the tab. This is a huge problem. This started happening with today's Tablerone 1.8.60 update, please revert it. 5/27/2025 (v1.11.1) UPDATE: As of today, I can no longer open any of my tabs in Tablerone. The dropdown from clicking on the plugin button doesnt dropdown. Trying to open tabs from the Tablerone page just closes the Tablerone page.

It's really good. I wish there was a way to include an option so that tabs will automatically be removed from the tab list when you click on them. For me, I use the tab list like a to do list and when I open a link I want it to be removed from the list.

cannot restore the txt, csv data from the extension crash, no auto backup available after crash, neither did it recognize its proper data when import, import function is not available.

was looking for a replacement for another extension that suddenly became paid tablerone does just that! love that i can save my tabs with one click and i have multiple options to have tablerone—i currently have it pinned bc i have another extension for the 'new tab'. love that you can hover over the links and it shows a preview as well! also similar sounding to one of my fave chocolates ;p give it a try rn!

absolutely love it, most used extension, i'm a new tab warrior so much so that my chrome shuts needs to restart because I don't realize i have 100 tabs open. With Tablerone I just remember to quickly go and save my open tabs and then I can close anything I want and know i can see and visit them easily later. Plus, if Chrome crashes, I can reopen Tablerone and select whatever tabs I want to reopen and open them all at once. They also have a tab suspender like additon and so much more. Thank you for your hard work!
