Create and edit documents with LibreOffice Online.
LibreOffice Editor is a Chrome extension that allows to create, edit and view any Microsoft Word document, Excel spreadsheet and Powerpoint slide. It is an integration with LibreOffice Online and a file manager in order to handle all your documents when online. It is a document, spreadsheet and presentation editor integrated with our file manager to manage only "Office" file types with this online app.
Its main features are:
1) It provides direct access to create a doc, xls or ppt document from scratch with this LibreOffice Editor.
2) It detects when you access to an "Office" document, and it opens it directly using this LibreOffice Editor.
Its architecture are split in three modules.
A) LibreOffice Editor Online, which contains the following features:
- Create, edit and view XLS spreadsheets written using OpenOffice Calc, LibreOffice Calc or Microsoft Excel.
- Create, edit and view DOC documents written using OpenOffice Doc, LibreOffice Doc or Microsoft Word.
- Create, edit and view PPT slides written using OpenOffice Impress, LibreOffice Impress or Microsoft Powerpoint.
- Styles management.
- Font sizes.
- Font colours.
- Background colours.
- Search for texts.
- Insert columns / rows / tables / images..
- Delete rows / columns.
- Advanced find & replace / regular expressions / special characters.
- Spreadsheet functions.
- Slides preview.
- Export to PDF.
- Auto save files.
- Open source code.

3) File manager module, which includes the following functionality over the files used by this extension:
- Personal files and directories in the Cloud.
- Operations with files and folders: copy, move, upload, create folder/file, etc

This LibreOffice Editor extension use the platform http://www.offidocs.com. It is available for free online users but it also allows the integration with premium users and on-premises OffiDocs deployments where the OffiDocs LibreOffice online global bundle is installed.
IMPORTANT: This extension scans the URLs browsed in order to detect DOC, XLS, PPT files. The DOC, XLS, PPT files detected appear in a list located in the extension popup that are retrieved from our servers. The scanning is performed from our servers so your URL are reported to our system. No personal data is collected. This scan can be disabled with a checkbox that appears in the extension popup. If you disable this scanning, this functionality is not available so then the extension functionality is very limited.

OffiDocs takes over one of my open tabs, sends it to whatever other open tab it has chosen and removes the back button so I have no clue what tab it took over. Deleting.

A quarter of the page is taken up by a white blank with "menu" at the top right, and I don't see an option to make the gap smaller or go full screen on the document. Dawg that's just bad design.

Not very user friendly, Have spent several hours trying to figure it out - still haven't found MENU. A lot of online hints tell me to do something under MENU so I'm stuck. Keep losing sub folder. Can't open ODS files without first copying the file to a different subfolder. Frequently opens with files that aren't mine - can't figure out where they are coming from. Looks like it may have the potential to do what I need - just have not figured it out yet. Not sure what version I have - trying to run on Windows 10 desktop so I can share spreadsheets with my Chromebook.

I need office word
Me impide usar Adblock plus para la página web que sirve de front end al office, vale, lo entiendo. Lo he desactivado en esa página y aún así no me permite usar el procesador de textos, la hoja de cálculo y la presentación. Ni de broma quito el Adblock plus, o el equivalente de turno, si lo desactivo en vuestras páginas debería ser suficiente ¿no? Por cierto, ya la estoy desinstalando, volveré a echarle un vistazo cuando al mes que viene.

Le otorgado una puntuación que a rigor de verdad no me convence el sistema; pues tiene muy poca matemática.
This is not actually from LibreOfffice as far as I can tell. It's a stripped down document editor and does not have all the functions I need, such as inserting a header or page numbers. I can't recommend this.

Het blijft een beetje raar dat de letters wat achterblijven. Hier in dit kadertje gaat het veel beter. Een letter ingedrukt en die staat er. Als die snelheid verbetert, zal ik wel fan worden.
