Adds ability to change song speed with an input next to the volume slider.

Version 1.6:
-Fix issue where speed input would sometimes not appear(race condition with loading dom)
-Fixed issue where free version of spotify would load too quickly and cause the extension to load after spotify's scripts :'D btw ublock origin extension removes spotify ads
Version 1.5:
-Added redundancy to ensure the extension loads
-Spotify started randomly using <audio> and <video> interchangeably like absolute madmen so it checks for both now

-Change speed from 7% to 1600% speed
-patch for spotify update that changed to a hidden <audio> element instead of <video> rude spotify >:(
Mainly made this to share with friends but here you go. This was incredibly difficult to come up with a solution for. Many dead ends...

Will not show up on my spotify...it doesn't work..there is no button next to the volume to change the speed. i have restarted my computer, closed things out, logged out and back in, etc etc etc...
Doesn't work. Couldn't get it to show any kind of speed controls, no matter how many times I reloaded Spotify/reopened Chrome.

Spotify updated their web player code just slightly enough to break the dial from being displayed, and the maker of this seems to be MIA. If you go to the GitHub, https://github.com/intOrfloat/spotitySpeedExtension/issues/7 here, someone made a fork of the code and fixed it. You can download the zip from them, unzip, go to Chrome Extensions, turn on Developer Mode at the top right, and Load Unpackaged Extension from that unzipped folder. It should work then.
As of 11/29 the Ext does not work. tried the GetHub file and still no bueno ** will change review if updated** >>SEARCH Global Speed here on the store>> their Ext works flawlessly

This extension is completely dead. Instead use "Global Speed", it is the best playback speed extension for spotify and other apps.

This was working for me, but today I tried it and it wouldn't adjust the playback speed. Maybe there's been an update to Spotify, which means this extension needs an update?

Used to work fine a few months ago. Now the option or field to change the playback speed doesnt appear anymore.
It used to work, but it stopped working on my desktop around a month ago. But when it did work, it was amazing

Habilite el "Modo de desarrollador" usando la palanca en la esquina superior derecha. Haga clic en "Cargar descomprimido" y seleccione la carpeta previamente descomprimida que tiene el archivo manifest.json Asegúrese de que La extensión está habilitada marcando el botón correspondiente Recargar https: //open.spotify. War immer gut und hat getan was es soll, aber auf einmal funktioniert es nicht mehr. Es ist als wäre die Erweiterung gar nicht installiert. Bitte beheben, gibt keine Alternative und Podcasts in Originalgeschwindigkeit sind echt lahm
