Accessibility Checker for Developers in Chrome
Experimental Accessibility testing in Chrome DevTools
To make it easy for everyone to test the leading edge of axe-core, we’ve introduced this new free Chrome extension, called axe Coconut. It includes our latest code changes for Shadow DOM, with experimental rules also enabled.
The axe Coconut extension, created in the same vein as a Chrome Canary or Firefox Nightly, will allow you to try out our latest APIs and rules before they are released to more stable channels, such as our regular axe Chrome Extension.
You can find the stable release of the axe Extension here:

This extension is governed by the license agreement at https://www.deque.com/terms-of-use/axe-ext

- (2019-01-18) Love this tool. Makes it really easy to check for WCAG compliance. I especially love how you can easily highlight the parts of the screen that were flagged as violations/warnings. This makes my job so much easier! I have found that if I run into any unexpected messages, such as "Your File Not Found" error, the extension has very helpful instructions and troubleshooting messages so anyone who can read can learn how to update settings appropriately when necessary.

- (2018-11-13) Doesn't work - the Chrome extension just shows a "Your file was not found" error.
