This extension will allow you to control your current Spotify Web Player and show current playing song lyirics.

• (2020-06-27) Alaa Masalha: It's Ok, but I expected lyrics highlight while it's being spoken. Also, why does it have to reload the lyrics if I leave the tab and go back again? Couldn't it just cache it instead of re-fetching it every time I return to the Spotify tab? And last thing, It would be much better if you could embed the lyrics literally on the Spotify interface, just like the Trim extension does on Netflix. Check it out

Two suggestions, however -- it would be great to have an option to have it persist even if you click somewhere else in the tab, and sometimes it doesn't process the lyrics to covers of pop songs properly (to duplicate the bug, listen to nearly anything in Alex Goot's "Alex Goot & Friends" and try to open the lyrics -- it opens something totally unrelated, for some reason).
