Mindful (Beta)

This is a wonderful extension...or at least, it was. Google has removed it for not following their rules or something. They let me keep using it for a while, but after this most recent update to Chrome, they turned it off again and didn't even give warning so I could get my freaking data off it. I did that the last time they threatened to turn it off, but not this time, and I'm PISSED. Is the data for this extension anywhere on my hard drive in a readable form? Or one that can be MADE readable with a handy-dandy translation app? I'd love to get my data off it, please.

Chrome just removed this for me. I've been using it for for yeaaaaaaaaaars so it's a sad day. RIP. Thanks for the memories g star

A handy notepad to keep short term data, like passwords after creation but before you get it locked down in your password manager. Data doesn't last forever so remember... short term. Is there a Firefox version?

I was loving this extension and have been using it for months. Today I started a new tab to find all my notes were gone! I will be uninstalling it going back to my more reliable way of note taking.

I really like the extension, but like many others, I'm sad to report that it occasionally loses all of my edits. As such, I'll need to stop using it in favor of something else. Perhaps supporting a data sync to a backing store that is reliable/has clearer semantics.

Really Cool, but . . . it loses your notes, and then they are GONE. They are not saved locally, they are not saved anywhere. Mysteriously GONE. Forget it, not worthwhile.

It looks like it's been quite a while since this extension was reviewed, but I just added it to yet another laptop, it's that valuable to me. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to search out, AGAIN, a frequently-used affiliate link or a link to a YouTube video that I often recommend. All of that and a lot more is on Mindful.

I like Mindful and was testing it on two desktops (home and office). But then the synchronization glitched and I got an older version of my notes that overwrote the new version. Initially the synchronization was fine and so I gradually was using it more extensively then wham bam - data lost. As per some other comments a brief history file might protect against this. Until then I can't trust it.

How can I create checkboxes on windows 10? The replacement for command key on windows is the windows button, and windows + . works for loading up the emoji lists.

Great extension. I love being able to write in Markdown, without having to go to menus/mouse. Is there a markdown way to enter checkboxes without selecting from the 3-dot menu?

Have tried out quite a few New Tab to-do list/running memo extensions and Mindful is my new favorite. Would be nice if I could customize line-spacing and page width.

Cool extension, but I was VERY upset by the lack of the ability to roll back changes between tab openings (with this extenstion) at least within one browser session.

I like this extension, very neat and clean, it just needs draggable lists, and perhaps a couple of iterations on the way you add and manipulate content. Nice work bro, cheers <3

I love the extension, however i wish there was a recover option, or at least a show past 2-3 states of the lists. This is because I accidentally delete something sometimes, and only after i can no longer Ctrl+Z realize it. Also, great design :)

Great tool. But as other users have stated, content seems to disappear every couple of weeks. Very frustrating as it is a perfect new tab extension aside from that.

I love this extension, however I occasionally lose all content of my mindful on chrome quit, and that is really frustrating... some kind of history / versioning would be amazing to implement.
