uBO Lite (uBOL) 是一个基于最新浏览器扩展接口（Manifest Version 3）打造的的内容屏蔽工具。
该扩展预设的规则列表对应 uBlock Origin 的预设过滤规则列表：
- uBlock Origin 内置过滤规则列表
- EasyList
- EasyPrivacy
- Peter Lowe 的广告和跟踪服务器列表
访问选项页面，点击弹出面板中的 _齿轮_ 图标，即可启用更多规则集。
uBOL 的过滤规则是完全声明式的，并不需要固定保留一个 uBOL 扩展进程，基于 CSS/JS 注入的内容过滤更是交由浏览器进行调度，比起扩展本身更为可靠。 这也即是说当内容被过滤时 uBOL 自身并不占用额外 CPU 和内存资源，_只有_在您打开弹出面板或是设置页面时才会生成 uBOL 扩展进程。

- This is a great extension. When my Google Chrome can't use Ublock Origin, I can use Ublock Origin Lite. While it's not as feature-rich as the original, it's sufficient. It not only blocks annoying online ads but also directly blocks problematic websites. That's why I give it a perfect score.

- This is actually a great adblocker, I never get ads on Youtube and even on Hulu and other streaming platforms. on top of that its a Chrome Extension so you don't have to deal with out of browser download. this is one of the best free ones I have experienced. I recommend it.

- Great addon! Unfortunately YouTube must have done something today that somewhat limits this addon. Livestreams will not start with this running, but if you disable it the livestream will start. You can reenable it after and it seems to work. But this has to be done every time you start watching a livestream. This is my experience that started today, may not be affecting others the same. Edit: It does not seem happen every time. It seems hit and miss as to whether it will prevent a livestream from starting.

- Absolutely one of the best Chrome adblockers out there right now, and yes it does still work with YouTube. Very useful because YT ads have become so oppressive that they have active window enforcement, so if you try to mute and alt tab it will literally pause the ad until you tab back in. This extension is a one click solution to all those problems.

- After I got a chrome update (today 19 february 2026) this no longer works on twitch. Constant ads passing by now. Either twitch went back to crack on adblocks or chrome update killed something.

- On every computer I have, every web browser I use (and I use the major ones, I'm a software engineer), the first thing I do is I add Ublock Origin. It is an essential to browsing any website these days. To add to my praise of how much I use this, I also added this extension to my parents and other relatives' browsers. I find it perplexing to see them navigate to a website and be bombarded by floating videos auto playing - how do they tolerate this?? UBlock is absolutely essential.

- Coming here to report what others have said - no longer working on YouTube. You have to refresh once, which is okay for longer videos, but if you're like me and use playlists for music or whatever, it's annoying. The troubleshooting recommended on the uBlock Origin subreddit doesn't work either. Good ol' Google - if this isn't fixed soon I might actually move to Firefox.

- It stills work on YouTube, just need to reload the page again manually. F5 is best, though it is bit annoying to do every time

- It's an effective and good ad blocker. But it no longer works properly on YouTube. As long as uBlock is enabled, YouTube doesn't load the videos, but instead displays a message that the video is unavailable.

- It's not as good as uBlock Origin, but it works; it tends to have problems blocking pop-ups in some web video players, as it blocks them with a warning but you have to close them every time they appear.
