As of Dec 2021, I can report this extension works fine. I am not sure why so many people report it's not working. I will point out that "What Font - Find Font" is identical in functionality and appearance to the extension I suspect it's been forked (copied) from, which is "What Font" by Chengyin Liu. That extension has been available since for more than a decade, and has over 1 million users (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/whatfont/jabopobgcpjmedljpbcaablpmlmfcogm?hl=en) The fact it's identical is why I give this extension only four stars. Yes, it works. But it's got nothing original to it. And there's something very obvious that could have been added in order to justify forking Liu's "What Font" and releasing it as a new extension ("What Font - Find Font"). To me the one important yet missing feature on Liu's "What Font" (and now this "What Font - Find Font" copy) is the that neither display the letter-spacing info (aka. 'kerning'). This is a rather important piece of info when it comes to typography analysis. Other than that missing feature, this works well (just like Liu's "What Font" works). But it has no particular advantage over the original "What Font" from Chengyin Liu.

Strangely, this one works for me while others don't. But it generates an annoying error in the console when reloading a page, so it's a no-go for developers.
한글 폰트에 대해 정확한 폰트 파악이 안됩니다. 한 페이지에 영어 폰트, 한글 폰트(unicode-range 속성 사용해서) 따로 썼는데, 영어 폰트 이름만 나오네요. 업무용으로는 못쓸 것 같고, 개인적으로는 한 번쯤 써보셔도 괜찮을 것 같습니다.

works for me. not sure what everyone's issue is. i tried 4 different extensions and this was the only one that worked.

It keeps throwing the following error in the console `Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.` And, sometimes it fails to determine the true family of a font
When I add WhatFont to my Chrome （Version 74.0.3729.169 ）. I Open any URL，such as http://www.baidu.com ,there will be an error in the page .(Error Massage:(index):1 Unchecked runtime . lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.) If I disable the WhatFont ,t hen press Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page,the error disappeared.

Wow! Works perfectly with more detailed info than I expected. I remember spending many many many hours 12 or so years ago online searching blindly every time I would stumble across the "perfect font" to use with my production company. Boy you kids these days got it easy with this extension🥰
If this extension works, I can't figure out how! I have tried every which way I know of to make it work but it just doesn't work! I have tested the 3 font finder extensions available on the Chrome web store side by side; this one did not work. What Font works! WhatFont doesn't! Plain & simple. Don't waste your time with this extension.
Все гарно працює. Єдине, що змініть то це зміну кольору іконки у браузері щоб було видно коли це розширення on/off.
