Транслит для хрома. This extension converts latin characters to cyrillic phonetically.
Русский транслит как кнопка в Хроме. Вы можете вводить транслит в окошко разширения, или-же пользоватся функциями транслита на любой страничке, например в GMail. Клавиши которые включают и выключают транслит отображаются в окошке разширения. Их так же можно поменять в настройках Хрома.

This is a simple Russian transliteration (translit) extension for chrome. Use it to phonetically convert Latin characters into Cyrillic. Since Cyrillic alphabet is larger than most Latin derivatives some characters are converted in sequence. For example the character "s" is converted into Cyrillic "с", while the sequences "sh" into "ш" and "shh" into "щ".
This extension provides a small input window for writing translit. It also provides translit directly in web pages, such as GMail. This function can be enabled and disabled with a shortcut. The shortcut is displayed in the extension window, and can be changed in Chrome settings.
You may find this extension useful if you are learning Russian, and want to be able to type it, without learning a new keyboard-layout. While Mac does provide a Russian phonetic keyboard, it does not provide transformation of combinations, which significantly reduces usability. Many Russians use translit today, you should try it too.

Спасибо, очень активно пользуюсь. В некоторых окнах не работает, допустим в этом (где пишу отзыв :D), но это мелочь. Больше напрягает, что надо мягкий знак чтоб поставить нажать три раза и только тогда лишнее удалить если дальше следует пробел. И так же с большими буквами в начале предложения и "и" в конце слов.
Отличное ресширение. Но есть баг; невозможно написать сочетание "шх", превращается в "щ". Например есть город "Шхем" , выходит "Щем". Можно, например, использовать сочетание "shh" для "щ", а "shx" для "шх". А еще последняя буква превращается в английскую, когда отсылаешь сообщение. Например в Watsapp.

I liked it. I'm learning Russian and Ukrainian on Duolingo and since I don't have a Cyrillic keyboard at the ready, this is very helpful.

Adăugați vă rog un buton de a translitera în rusă, textul deja copiat în memorie și introdus aici. Ar fi mult mai comod. Mulțumim anticipat!

не работает вне окошка плагина
Хорошее приложение, но было бы еще лучше, если бы корректно работало в Facebook чате. Сейчас вроде работает, вроде нет - некоторые буквы отображаются нормально, некоторые - меняются на латынь после отсыла сообщения.
Странно, работал на сайтах в момент установки. Теперь только если в окошке. Включить Alt-R функцию не получается. По ходу стал бесполезным.
Работает в собтвенном окне, клавиши ALT+R не работают, в них то весь и писк программы, чтобы не хвататься каждый раз за мышку, блин разработчики что так сложно это фиксануть

Its great for what I need but occasionally, when I'm using duolingo it swaps out the last cyrillic letter for the latin/english equivalent, this happens all the time and so most of my answers happen. it also happens as soon as I press enter and the problem became more and more common.

Совершенно бесполезная штука. Актуально не работает (кроме как в собственном окне). Обновлялась последний раз в 2014 году. не советую ставить и терят время

It's useful, but I am uncomfortable with the permission "Read and change all your data on the websites you visit" when that seems to be beyond the scope of what this extension does. Can you please explain?

You probably can't do better with Chrome than just transliterating in input fields. It's still a big limitation you can't search in Russian in the address field ("omnibox"). For now, I'll stick with using the Windows application translitA (even though it's got a sucky shortcut for enabling/disabling transliteration).
