I stumbled on this after a bit of search. By Jove this is so useful and easy to use. Another few months of trial and I will start paying for it.

You can manually create events in gcal and then, within these events, start and stop a tracking timer. However, you cannot have a button, that records your working time in the google calendar, by creating events there and summing them up.

• (2022-09-08) Yana Tyo: Третий день тестируем в компании trackingtime. Почти всё нравится. Чего не хватает сейчас: 1. Нет кнопки быстрого копирования ссылок на проект, задачу, комментарий. 2. Нельзя добавить длинный комментарий, приходиться отправлять несколько сообщений, не понятно сколько всего символов заложено в поле. 3. В комментарий нельзя вставить картинку/скриншот. 4. Чтобы включить таймер, нужно обязательно добавить себя в список пользователей. Удобно было бы по умолчанию иметь возможность управлять временем по заибодаче и создателю задачи тоже. Остальное всё круто и красиво!

• (2022-08-24) Clinton Williams: The extention really just allows you to start and stop a time clock. However, you're only able to choose from recent tasks you've tracked--- even with pro you can't choose to just start the clock. You've basically got to open the entire web app to do anything. Really wanted to like it but honestly it does the opposite and adds more time on to a task than if you'd just opened their website in the first place.

Support nicht immer erreichbar..was nicht ganz so dramatisch ist, aber wenn erreichbar, dann kommt auch nicht wirklich eine Lösung.. das ist dan schon ärgerlich, zumal das eine Bezahlversion ist.. hoffe das klappt dann noch.

• (2022-01-06) C S: Edit: I had another idea for an improvement. When the desktop notifications pop up from Chrome, could you add the amount of time that's been tracked to that task so far? I.e. "You are tracking: [Project/Task]. 1:30 tracked." It would be helpful to monitor how long I've been working on a given task without having to check myself. I love everything about this extension, but I have one tiny suggestion! In Asana, could you add a time tracking button next to the check mark on each task in the list and board views for the project page and the "My Tasks" page? Sometimes it's tricky to see which task I'm tracking without opening up the Time Tracking window, and sometimes I'd like to be able to start tracking without opening up the task (especially in cases of nested sub-tasks). That would make this extension perfect! Thanks so much for this!

I didn't use all the features available but for my needs it worked out perfectly. Their customer service is very responsive and polite when it comes to inquiries made.

Sweet thats cool, Im still in the experience. Oh... when you go to add time for a task already created in asana, nope. No Connection. You have to duplicate your asana task over in TrackingTime's app which is a colossal waste of time and double the work for an app advertised as free until Asana apps. Continue your search if a smooth integration into Asana is what you are looking for.

• (2020-07-04) Nick J: This is hands-down the best time tracking software I've encountered, and I am a dedicated (some would say obsessive :-) ) time and task tracker. The design is easy to use, crosses devices (Iphone, chrome and desktop) smoothly, and the customer service is top notch. I strongly recommend getting, and financially supporting, this extension.

I'm a freelancer and I'm tracking remote work and my personal routines and work. I just wish there would be some fixes and other features here and there. I'm still exploring. The transfer of the information from todoist to time tracking works only with the cathegory. The task itself wont be transfered anymore. can you fix this problem? thanks!

• (2019-03-01) Daniel Arnett: I liked it at first and then it started giving me an error saying I use it for too many projects and it wants me to upgrade. I tried deleting projects but can't get it to work again. Don't have time to deal with this. Could have been really nice, and I'm happy to pay for a good tool, but it doesn't seem well thought through. It basically waits until it can tell you're depending on it then it locks up on you for money.
