Best Chrome extension ever!

This extension is exactly what I was looking for, simple and effective. Stops the doomscrolling after opening social media on autopilot (happens often), but can still access messaging. Plus great quotes. Could it block the youtube shorts and facebook reels pages as well?

This is a really usefull tool in my opinion. The only thing that annoys me in it is that "News Feed Eradicator" title that appears when I visit the youtube site. It's just slightly annoying. Either way I really recomend getting this search extension. It really does make a difference.

Mate this thing is an absolute lifesaver. It's helped me drastically reduce the head noise from seeing random (usually triggering) shite on the various homepages of otherwise useful platforms. I appreciate how intentional it's made me about social media use. Instead of getting sucked into mindless scrolling, It now only makes sense to open up an app because there is something specific I'm looking for. Otherwise, I'll just open the app and be faced with a quote from Martin Luther or someone reminding me to go and do something meaningful with my life. If you haven't already got this, I can't recommend it more highly. Just do it, and free up your mind for more important and creative things than digesting random content some algorithm feeds you.

it doesnt work for linkedin home feed anymore. needs to be updated

perfect for facebook i wish this would continue to work for long time. i only use facebook for marketplace and some retro gaming groups. i aoften found myself distracted by bloatware in the home feed. even with fresh account facebook finds ways to push unwanted posts to your face.

So simple to use! You can have a leeway for yourself (you can select a window of time where you can scroll for a tad bit) to and then when time is up, news feed vanishes. I love it!

What a helpful extension, thanks to the person who made it. One bug though- it really slows down my linkedin some days- not sure why?

I absolutely love that someone made this. I can feel my brain rotting as I scroll - no longer! It works brilliantly on Facebook, however I'm giving 4 stars only because it blocks everything on Instagram and I can't access dms etc. All I see is a quote that News Feed Eradicator generates. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but the problem persists. If anyone can help find a way to solve this that would be great.

Works like a charm. But show feed for x duration (except forever) doesn't work with reddit, Please fix that. And having to refresh/reload after turning on feed is kinda annoying, is this fixable?

Love the tool, just a heads up to the devs -- if eradicator turns on when you post a thread in Twitter (prone to happen when you're writing a long one and "took a break") it breaks the entire thread into individual tweets
